Course Introduction
Clinical Pharmacology explores the principles and applications of pharmacology in the context of patient care. This course examines the mechanisms of drug action, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions, and adverse effects, with an emphasis on rational prescribing, dosage adjustments, and therapeutic drug monitoring. Students will develop an understanding of how drugs are selected and used to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases in various patient populations. Real clinical cases and current guidelines will be integrated to highlight the translation of pharmacological knowledge into evidence-based medical practice.
