This course offers a comprehensive overview of the principles and practices involved in the clinical management of pediatric patients. Students will examine unique aspects of pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions across a range of common and complex medical conditions. Emphasis is placed on age-appropriate communication, growth and development considerations, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, and family-centered care. Through case studies and evidence-based guidelines, students will develop critical thinking skills necessary for effective, safe, and ethical management of infants, children, and adolescents in various healthcare settings.
