Course Introduction
Biomedical Sciences is an interdisciplinary field that explores the biological and physiological principles underlying human health, disease, and medical treatment. Students in this course examine the molecular, cellular, and systemic mechanisms that govern normal function and pathological conditions, integrating knowledge from biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and genetics. Emphasis is placed on understanding disease processes, diagnostic methods, and therapeutic strategies, preparing students for further study or careers in healthcare, research, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
