Course Introduction
Biological Psychology explores the intricate relationship between biological processes and behavior, examining how the brain, nervous system, hormones, and genetics influence thoughts, emotions, and actions. The course covers foundational topics such as neural communication, brain structure and function, sensory and motor systems, as well as the biological underpinnings of learning, memory, emotion, and mental disorders. Students will gain an understanding of key research methods in biological psychology and how advances in neuroscience contribute to our understanding of human behavior.
