Course Introduction
Biological Anthropology explores the biological and evolutionary aspects of the human species, examining human origins, genetic diversity, adaptation, and our relationship with other primates. This course covers key concepts such as evolutionary theory, the fossil record, human variation, and primatology, providing insights into how biological processes and environmental factors have shaped the development of Homo sapiens. Students will gain an understanding of the scientific methods used to study human biology and evolution, as well as how culture and biology interact to influence human behavior and health.
