The Biochemistry Laboratory course provides hands-on experience with fundamental techniques and experiments used in modern biochemical research. Students will learn to isolate, purify, and analyze biomolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, and enzymes through various methods including spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, chromatography, and enzyme assays. Emphasis is placed on experimental design, data analysis, and the interpretation of results. Additionally, students will develop essential laboratory skills, maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, and practice safe laboratory procedures. This course enhances understanding of the theoretical concepts studied in lecture-based biochemistry courses through practical application.
