Course Introduction
Behavioral Neuroscience explores the biological foundations of behavior by examining the structure and function of the nervous system. The course covers fundamental topics including neural communication, sensory systems, motor control, learning and memory, emotion, and biological rhythms. Students will investigate how brain processes influence behavior, with attention to research methods and experimental findings in both humans and animals. Emphasis is placed on understanding the interplay between neural mechanisms and behavior in areas such as perception, motivation, stress, and psychiatric disorders.
