Allied Health Anatomy and Physiology
Test Preparation

Course Introduction
This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of human anatomy and physiology with a focus on applications for allied health professions. Students will explore the structure and function of major organ systems, including musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, digestive, and urinary systems. Emphasis is placed on the interrelationships among systems and physiological processes that support health, as well as terminology and concepts necessary for clinical practice. Laboratory experiences reinforce theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on activities relevant to allied health fields.
