Administrative Law
Exam Materials
Course Introduction
Administrative Law explores the legal principles governing the actions and decisions of administrative agencies within the executive branch of government. The course examines the statutory and constitutional foundations of administrative agencies, the processes by which agencies promulgate regulations, enforce laws, and issue adjudicative decisions, as well as the mechanisms for judicial review of agency actions. Key topics include the delegation of legislative authority, procedural fairness, the role of due process, and the remedies available to individuals affected by administrative decisions. Throughout the course, students will analyze important legislation, administrative procedures, and significant case law to understand the balance between effective government administration and the protection of individual rights.
