In the auction on October 10, 2023 we offer about 250 design classics and rare objects by Italian designers. Among them are furniture by Fontana Arte, large ceramics by Ettore Sottsass, as well as lighting by Gino Sarfatti and many other renowned designers.
For comfort and convenience in everyday life, this seating furniture: from the series 'Soriana', designed by Tobia and Afra Scarpa in 1970, we offer two armchairs (estimated price 3.000 - 4.000€), a two-seater sofa (SP 3.000 - 4.000€) and a three-seater sofa (SP 3.500 - 4.500€), covered with a chocolate brown contemporary textile. An adjustable back and soft velvet upholstery of the armchair 'Mamounia' make it particularly attractive. Designed by George Sowden in 1985, the armchair with concise fabric pattern by Nathalie Du Pasquier was assessed with realistic estimate of 3.000 - 4.000€. Furthermore, seating furniture by Cini Boeri, Mario Bellini and various Italian manufactures are offered.
