Founded in 2011 by Europe’s winning captain in the 2014 Ryder Cup, the Paul McGinley Academy’s mission is to cultivate and improve golfers’ performance by equipping them with the tools and techniques used by the professionals on tour.

PRIVATE SESSION
Take this opportunity to work on your short game or your full swing for 50 minutes. The lesson may include in-depth video and computer analysis as well as a specific ongoing improvement plan. Meet the golf pro and set a goal for the lesson.

PLAYING LESSONS
Set among some of the Algarve’s most beautiful golf courses, the Paul McGinley Golf Academy offers golfers of all levels a unique training experience. Through on-course lessons, you will learn to improve course management, club and shot selection, and your pre-shot routine, while understanding how the technical and mental aspects of the game work together to influence your score.
The TaylorMade Performance Center in Quinta do Lago is the only facility of its calibre in Portugal, and one of the few in Europe. The centre is operated by trained TaylorMade professionals, offering golfers a custom-fitting experience testing hundreds of club and iron combinations. Golfers receive exclusive access to launch monitor and ball flight technology, as well as custom fitting guidance from TaylorMade professionals.
