Recreation Director Russ Harrington began his journey in Rec. through the Boy Scouts of America where he grew a passion for the outdoors. One of his favorite accomplishments along his path was earning his Eagle Scout. He attended Central Washington University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Recreation Management in 1997. After college Russ moved down to Coos Bay, OR taking a district position with the Boy Scouts where he met his wife before moving back home to Quincy. While growing up, through starting a family, he has spent hundreds of hours enjoying all things outdoors with his wife and children: hunting, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, or coaching and cheering on his kids at youth sports, they were always recreating. Now that his kids are grown Russ enjoys volunteering to MC at Wrestling matches and exploring new places with his wife.

Recreation Coordinator Amanda Bogle has been working in recreation since 2003 and has been with the Quincy Rec. Department since 2011. She graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Recreation and Tourism. She started as a lifeguard for the City of Ellensburg where she worked her way up to being an Aquatics and Recreation Leader running the pool trainings and helping with recreation events for kids. She became more involved as a Red Cross instructor in 2005 and now teaches Lifeguarding, Water Safety, Babysitting, First Aid / CPR and Instructor level classes. Along with her passion for pools, Amanda loves arts, crafts, and kids programs. Her favorite ways to recreate are playing games, going to Disney, camping, cheering her kids on during sports & summer swim league, and hanging out with her pets.
