MCGILL UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF LAW - FACULTÉ DE DROIT DE L’UNIVERSITÉ MCGILL
LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Anna McAllister | 3L
Why hello, McGill Law, Was it just me or was last week a doozy? Everyone I spoke with at the Faculty had unfortunate mishaps peppering their week, from accidentally missing classes, encountering frustrating professor antics, to not getting a presale code for the Olivia Rodrigo tour. What’s worse: the Montreal LGBTQ2S+ Community was confronted by a misinformed and disturbed protest against (among other things) teaching comprehensive
sex education and information about LGBTQ2S+ identities in schools right at the footsteps of our campus. To top it all off, I am writing to you from Toronto OCI-eve - will this week ever end? Since my time at the Faculty, I have survived a few of these neverending weeks. And that is the point, I survived. We rely on each other, we band together, and we get through it. As we begin a new week, I wish you all meaningful recalibration

and time for the things that bring you joy. All never-ending weeks do eventually end - I promise!
