FROM THE CLUBHOUSE Now, I’m not insinuating anything like this happens on the island, but club member, Tom Freeman, recently shared this joke with me and I thought it might make you chuckle... or think twice. A group of golfers were searching the rough for one of their balls. After a few minutes of searching, the golfer who sliced his ball into the undergrowth called out he had found his ball. He’s a cheat calls back one of the others. The other golfers gather around. That’s a pretty serious accusation you’re making. Why do you say he’s a cheat?... Because I’ve got his ball here in my pocket!
