CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE Welcome to the 30th Anniversary of Our Outing! Thirty years ago, a dedicated group of committee members came together with an idea: to create a golf outing that would support Queens Centers for Progress and the children and adults with developmental disabilities who rely on its services. Many of those early leaders are no longer with us, but their vision and commitment live on in the extraordinary tradition we celebrate today. What began as a small outing on a single course has grown into one of The Home Depot’s most anticipated events—bringing together hundreds of golfers; sponsors, merchants, vendor partners and volunteers across five courses. None of us could have imagined how far this event would come or the tremendous impact it would make. That growth has been possible because of the steadfast commitment of The Home Depot’s leadership, its dedicated merchants and, most importantly, all of you. Through three decades of remarkable growth, one thing has never changed: the warmth of this community and the genuine camaraderie we share. Today is certainly about enjoying a wonderful round of golf on some of Long Island’s most beautiful courses—but it is also about something much greater. It is about strengthening QCP’s mission and helping people with developmental disabilities live fuller, more independent lives. On behalf of the Golf Committee, I am deeply honored to congratulate our 2026 honoree, Paul Lundholm, Field Division Merchandising Manager for The Home Depot’s Northern Division. Throughout his distinguished career, Paul has been an extraordinary leader, colleague and friend. His tireless energy, vision and ability to bring people together have helped make this outing stronger and more successful year after year. As Paul begins an exciting new chapter, we are proud to recognize his remarkable career and the lasting impact he has made on The Home Depot, its vendor partners and Queens Centers for Progress. It has been my privilege to serve on this committee since the very beginning—first as a member and now as Chairman. I remain humbled by the dedication of the people with whom I have the honor of working. My heartfelt thanks go to Home Depot’s Shenell Leighton, Prudence Paul and Brian Waliszewski, who work tirelessly to ensure that this event reflects The Home Depot’s values and extraordinary spirit of giving. Paul Lundholm retired from The Home Depot on June 5, 2026, concluding a distinguished career of more than 30 years. Paul joined The Home Depot in October 1992 and, over the decades that followed, advanced steadily through roles of increasing responsibility — assistant store manager, store manager, merchant, divisional sales merchant, regional merchandise manager, and Field Divisional Merchandising Manager for the Northern Division. He was ultimately named Vice President, Field Merchandising for the Northern Division, where he oversaw merchandising execution for nearly 800 stores stretching from North Dakota to Virginia and up the East Coast. It has been a career built not only on achievement, but on the respect and trust he earned from those who worked alongside him.
Paul's impact has extended well beyond The Home Depot. As a longtime supporter of QCP, and with the backing of The Home Depot behind him, he has played an instrumental role in making our golf outing the success it is today — a reflection of his generosity and genuine commitment to this cause. As Paul begins this next chapter, we are grateful for all he has given — to The Home Depot, to QCP, and to everyone fortunate enough to have worked alongside him. Paul resides in Ocean City, New Jersey with his wife, Denise. They have three “kids” - Matt, Nick, and Monica and three grandchildren with one more on the way!
