General

Travelinreversewhencarryingaloaddownasteepincline.Travelforwardwhengoinguphill. Keepbucketlowwheneverpossible.
Dozing

Whenbulldozingkeepthebucketbottomparalleltotheground.Donotbulldozewiththebucket inthedumpposition.
Dumping

Usethebucketstopsformaximumdumpingangle.Donotallowthetiltcylinderstofullyextend.
Whenevertheloaderliftarmsarenearorbelowthehorizontalplane, itispossibletoextendthetiltcylinderstotheirfullestextentbefore bucketstopsmakecontact.Thismaydamagethecylindersandrodsif pressureisappliedtothecylindersorbucketwhentheyareinthis position.
NOTE:Wheneverthetiltcylindersarefullyextended,therodpistonwillcontacttheforwardend ofthetiltcylinder.Iftiltcylindersmustbefullyextended(asintheloadingofsomehoppers), damagetothecylindersandrodscanbepreventedbymakingsurethattherodpistonscontactthe forwardendofthecylinderswithaverysoftimpact.
Digging

Avoidexcessivedownpressureonthebuckettopreventlossoftraction.

Usebucketteethwhenworkinginhardmaterial.
LoadingFromStockpile

1.Positionbucketparalleltoandjustskimmingground.

2.Driveforwardintostockpile,forcingbucketintomaterial.

3.Worktiltcontrolbackandforthtoaidpenetrationofbucket.

4.Tiltbucketbackcompletelywhenloaded.

5.Raisebucketapproximately15inches(0,5m)orhighenoughtoclearmaterialbeingloaded. ShiftspeedselectortoREVERSE.

6.Uponreachingdumparea,moveliftcontroltoRAISE.Atpresetliftheight,liftcontrolwill returntoHOLD.
LoadingHaulingUnits

1.Positionhaulingunitatanangletomaterialbeingloadedtoreduceloaderturningandtravel. Traveldistanceshouldbelongenoughforbuckettoreachliftheightwithoutslowingloader.

2.Positionloadertodumploadincenterofhaulerbody.Ifhaulerbodyistwobucketsormorein length,dumpfromfronttorear.

3.Pulltiltcontrolbacktodumpbucket.

4.Ifloadinglargerock,placeabucketloadofsmallerrockinhaulingunitfirst.Thiswillcushion haulingunitbottomagainstimpactoflargermaterial.

5.Forcontrolleddumping,engagetiltcontrolleverforashortperiod,thenreturntoHOLD. Repeatuntilbucketisempty.

6.Shakebuckettoloosenstickymaterial.Movetiltcontrolleverbackandforthquickly,allowing armstostrikestops.

7.Ifpossiblekeepthewindtoyourbackwhendumping.Thiswillhelptokeepthedustoutof youreyesandawayfromtheengine.

8.Tiltbucketbackandlowertoloadingpositionwhilemovingloaderforanotherload.

1.Removeoverhangsandwatchforslidingmaterial.

2.Startatbaseofbankandfollowuptheface.

1.Lowerbuckettogroundandpositionforslightdiggingangle.Increasediggingangletoaid penetrationinhardearth.

2.Applydownpressuretobucketasloaderstartsforward.ReturnliftcontroltoHOLDwhen sufficientpenetrationisobtained.

3.Maintainlevelcutswhilemovingforwardbyraisingandloweringbucketwithliftcontrollever.

4.Tiltbucketbackagainststopswhenloaded.Carryloadedbucketapproximately15inches(0,5 m)abovegroundwhenmovingtodumparea.
Ripping

1.Uselowgearformostrippingoperations.Startwithoneortwoshanks.(Alwaysusecenter shankinoneshankripping).

2.Ifmaterialispenetratedeasilyandbreaksupsatisfactorily,addshanksratherthanincrease speed.
Keepseveralinchesofloosematerialontopoftheunrippedformationtocushiontheloaderand improvetraction.

3.Crossriponlywhereonewayrippingwillnotadequatelyloosentheformation.

3.Bucketusedasascraper:
Raisebowlslightlyandpositionbucketasfordozing.Whenloaded,tiltbucketbackbefore closingbowl.

1.Loadaswithastandardbucket.Positionbucketsomaterialwillfallincenterofhaulunit.

2.Bucketmaybedumpednormallyortotheleftside.
LogorLumberForkWithTopClamp

1.Positionforksincenterofload.Lowertopclampsandtiltforksbacktoholdloadagainstfor uprights.





4.Pullleveruptodisconnectmachinedriveline.

5.Movetransmissioncontrollevertodesiredpowertake-offspeedrange.

6.Movegovernorcontroltoobtainenginespeedbestsuitedforworkload.
