Thebackupalarm(1)ismountedontherearofthemachine.

Accesstothebackupalarmrequiresremovalofupperrearaccesspanel.

Note:OnmachinesequippedwithaHighRotationSeat,anadditionalalarmismountedatthefrontof themachine.Whichalarmsoundswilldependonseatposition.

Athree-positionswitchattherearofthebackupalarmregulatesthesoundofthealarm(HIGH, LOW,andMEDIUM).

Thealarmissetatthemaximumsoundlevelwhenthemachineisshippedfromthefactory.The settingshouldremainonHIGHunlessthejobsiterequiresalowersoundlevel.

Removethebatteryholddownplate(2).

Cleanthebatteryterminalsandthesurfacesofthebatterieswithacleancloth.Coatthebattery terminalswithpetroleumjelly.Makesurethatthebatterycablesareinstalledsecurely.

Reinstallthebatteryholddownplate,thebatteryholddownknobandtheenginecompartmentaccess panel.

•Morethanonesectionofthebeltisdisplacedinoneribofamaximumlengthof50.8mm(2 inch).
