The Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) is a compact light design unit combining both the release bearing and slave cylinder in one self adjusting component. The release bearing is kept in light contact with the clutch at all times, the bearing is allowed to move a small amount radially on the carrier which guarantees an optimum central position onto the clutch minimising wear to diaphragm spring contact tips.
