At Quiet Hour Ministries, we know that a chapel is more than just a building. It’s a place where people can come together to worship, learn, and support each other.
Because of your generosity, new chapels are being built in places like Malawi and Tanzania (see stories in this newsletter) giving communities a safe and welcoming space for their faith to grow.
Thanks to you, people have a safe place to gather
Your gifts help believers who once met outside
or in their homes have a permanent place to worship.
In developing countries, most Christian groups do not bring in enough local offerings to build their own chapel. Your support helps build a place for believers to worship together. A chapel helps local Christians feel connected to God’s global family. And in non-Christian areas, chapels are a powerful, visible witness that strengthens the Christian faith.
These churches are helping people grow closer to God and to one another.

Building faith—one chapel at a time
We’re making a difference—together
Building a chapel also helps build strong communities. It creates a space for learning, serving, and community outreach. We’re grateful for your partnership—and believers worldwide feel they are truly part of God’s family.
Your support makes these projects possible and helps spread God’s love where it’s needed most.

Together, we are creating places where faith can grow and lives can change.
Thank you for standing with us in this important work.

The Yudeya Seventh-Day Adventist Church is making steady progress on its new church building. This permanent chapel will give members a safe, welcoming place to worship and serve their community.
Thanks to your generosity, construction continues to move forward. From late July through September 2025, important work was completed, as shown in the photos.

Every brick represents your generosity and God’s faithfulness

Because of you, God’s work is rising—brick by brick.

You are helping to create a welcoming place where lives will be changed.
We thank God for every step forward as construction continues. More updates will be shared as this church takes shape this spring and summer. May God bless you for making this work possible.
In partnership with the East Tanzania Conference, construction is underway on the first chapel in the village of Ugga.
Until now, believers have gathered for worship under a tree. Soon, thanks to your generous support, they will have a safe, permanent place to come together for prayer, fellowship, and ministry.
As the walls go up, this chapel is becoming a visible sign of hope for the community.
We praise God for this progress and for your faithful the progress made so far and for your faithful partnership. This new chapel will help strengthen faith, build community, and expand outreach for years to come. Thank you!

As we watch these new churches rise in Malawi and Tanzania, I’m reminded of the story of Nehemiah rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah didn’t work alone— he inspired a community to come together, brick by brick, and to restore hope and safety. In the same way, your faithful support is helping build more than buildings. You are building spaces where faith can grow and lives can be transformed. Psalm 127:1 says, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
Thank you for partnering with God in this vital work. Together, we are building His kingdom.
In Christ, Edward R. Marton
