bianca hines Tahlia Craft's work is an exploration of the constructed fantasies of the pristine and perfect domestic life. Using vintage patterns and soft colours, she plays on the kitsch or sentimental aspects of this; and uses thread to sew images together to reect on the traditional domestic duties of a 'skilled' housewife. With a background in grafďŹ ti, she has since transformed into a printmaker and continues to use a stencil-like approach in her screen-prints.
