The exhibition, Fertile Ground, takes a radical approach to the theme of landscape. It is intended to come as a surprise, as the works vary widely in artistic methods and intentions. In the world environment of the 1990's, the landscape is no longer a passive scenic subject, and the onlooker can no longer be disinterested.
