With capacity for 160 Junior School students and a dedicated Kindy Club program in January to support the transition of our youngest learners into the ‘big school’ environment, Pymble OSHC is an invaluable support for many of our Junior School families who juggle the demands of work, co-curricular activities and the school day.

At Pymble, service to others goes much deeper than fundraising. It is a whole-school program with a vision to shape our world through care, respect, solidarity and kindness. As part of the bespoke Junior School Service Initiative, each girl receives a Service Journal outlining a variety of meaningful and ageappropriate opportunities to help her develop a service mindset.
Whether participating in community Fun Runs, Clean up Australia Day, National Tree Day or other student-led initiatives, your daughter will be supported to identify causes she is passionate about and lead her own service initiatives.
BUILDING CHARACTER THROUGH PLAY
When girls have regular access to explore, test their limits and engage in risky play, something powerful happens. They become capable, adaptable and confident — not because they were told they could do hard things, but because they did them.
Unstructured play is deliberately timetabled into the Junior School curriculum and our playgrounds are intentionally designed to encourage exploration, adventure and discovery through riding bikes, climbing, balancing and building. DREAM DIPLOMA
Pymble’s DREAM Diploma is a bespoke program designed to help our girls in Years 5 and 6 grow in confidence, independence and character, through rich learning experiences that sit outside the regular curriculum.
Built around the five pillars of DARE, REACH, EXPERIENCE, ADVOCATE, and MASTER, the program will inspire your daughter to set goals, embrace challenge and develop transferable skills that support success at school and beyond.
TURBO-CHARGED STEM LEARNING
Our Junior School STEM lab is like no other. Housed in our new Hunter and Vicars Centre, this state-of-the-art space is equipped with industrystandard technology including laser cutters, 3D printers and workshop tools offering our students hands-on experience with the same equipment used by professionals in the field.
Robotics, drones, coding and design challenges are embedded in the K-6 curriculum and Pymble girls are also proud members of the EV Racing community through our Formula Goblin program, where they design, build and race their own electric vehicles.
LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
There are many opportunities for girls to grow their leadership skills from Year 5, starting with the Spring into Leadership program, which will encourage your daughter to explore the type of leader she aims to become. She can also apply for named leadership portfolios and volunteer to represent the College at community and whole-school events.
In addition to official roles, girls in Years 5 and 6 are encouraged to lead in everyday ways, such as championing service initiatives, mentoring younger students, and hosting The Children’s Kindness Convention alongside students from other local schools.

Pymble is the first independent school in Australia to be recognised by the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) as an Australian Olympic Pathway School. The College offers 20 Olympic Sports in our world-class facilities, supported by world-class coaches and staff, and our Pymble Elite Sportswomen’s Program (PESP), which was established in 2007 to cater for the training, competing, wellbeing and academic learning needs of student athletes who compete at an elite level.
