OCTOBER 2025 | VOLUME 3, ISSUE 1
CROSSROADS a community of faith-filled PVI students and staff collaborating at the intersection of inspiration and information
a Writer’s Block Club Production
While you surfed, sunned, and swam all summer, PVI’s Writer’s Block Club team of creatives stayed up late and got up early not only to brainstorm, develop, design, proofread, revise, exhale, and launch For Art’s Sake – our 2024-2025 art & literary zine (that was entered into a national contest this summer!), but also to work on this issue of Crossroads – our monthly student-run publication burgeoning with informative and fabulous articles, news, and photos. Due to a “skydiving” mishap over Labor Day weekend, however, the launch of this issue was delayed. Nonetheless, from an enlightening article on why and where we ought to attend and experience a Traditional Latin Mass (TLM), the sharing of a sailor’s theophany, Shakespearean-inspired sonnets on pets, gaming, and apples, realism artwork, 12 awesome Christian songs, and a clever Rebus puzzle, to a fond farewell and peek into the future adventures of some '25 graduates, and the spotlight on a current PVI senior who just won the Junior World Champion Title in Marinera Peru’s National Dance (and is dancing in Milan, Italy as of this writing!), we know this brieflypostponed issue will both entertain you and inspire you (if not to go “skydiving” then for sure to stay up late on a sultry summer (or fall) night – creating something really extraordinary for others to enjoy!)
