ACCEPTABLE ATTIRE The following attire categories are used throughout the Club’s facilities.
RESORT CASUAL ATTIRE
Resort casual attire includes collared shirts, polos, blouses, sweaters, sundresses, skirts, slacks, tailored shorts, well-kept denim and appropriate casual shoes or sandals. Ripped jeans, beachwear, swimwear, tank tops, athletic wear, flip-flops and T-shirts are not appropriate unless specifically noted for a Casual Beachside venue.
DRESS CODE POLICY
PONTE VEDRA BEACH RESORTS GENERAL GUIDELINES
Members are responsible for ensuring that their families and guests are aware of and follow Club dress code guidelines. All attire should be neat, tasteful, clean and in good repair. Clothing with offensive, profane, explicit or inappropriate language or imagery is not permitted. Clothing that is overly revealing, transparent or exposes undergarments is not permitted. Shoes and appropriate shirts, tops or cover-ups are required in all indoor public areas, dining venues, shops, lobbies and shared resort spaces. Wet swimwear, bare feet and uncovered bathing suits are not permitted in indoor public areas, shops, lobbies or indoor dining venues. Towels do not qualify as shirts, cover-ups or appropriate attire. Hats, caps and visors should be worn facing forward. Gentlemen are respectfully asked to remove hats, caps and visors when entering indoor dining venues, including the Inn Dining Room, Golf Club Dining Room and The Tavern. Resort robes are reserved for guest rooms and The Spa and should not be worn in dining venues, shops, lobbies or other indoor public areas.
SMART CASUAL ATTIRE
Smart casual attire is a polished evening standard. Appropriate attire includes dresses, skirts, blouses, slacks, collared shirts, polos, sport shirts, well-kept denim, dress shoes, loafers or dress sandals. For gentlemen and boys over eight, long pants, collared shirts and closed-toe shoes are required where Smart Casual attire is noted. Sport coats are encouraged but not required.
CASUAL BEACHSIDE ATTIRE
Casual Beachside attire is appropriate for outdoor beachfront, poolside and grab-and-go dining or service areas. Shirts, tops or swimsuit cover-ups and footwear are required when dining or entering service areas. Swimwear must be tasteful, family appropriate and properly covered when away from the immediate beach or pool area. Bare feet, uncovered swimsuits and wet swimwear are not appropriate when seated for dining.
BEACH & POOL ATTIRE
Beach & Pool Attire is permitted only at the beach, pool deck, cabanas, lounge areas and immediate aquatic areas. Swimwear must be tasteful, family-appropriate and suitable for a Club environment. Brazilian-cut, thong-style, risqué or otherwise overly revealing swimwear is not permitted.Shirts, tops or cover-ups and footwear are required when leaving aquatic areas, entering dining venues or service areas, or passing through indoor and shared resort spaces. Towels do not qualify as cover-ups. Bare feet, uncovered swimwear and wet swimwear are not appropriate in indoor public areas, shops, lobbies or indoor dining venues.
