DRESS CODE POLICY PONTE VEDRA BEACH RESORTS
Members are responsible for ensuring that their families and guests are aware of and follow Club dress code guidelines. All attire should be neat, tasteful, clean and in good repair. Clothing with offensive, profane, explicit or inappropriate language or imagery is not permitted. Clothing that is overly revealing, transparent or exposes undergarments is not permitted.
Shoes and appropriate shirts, tops or cover-ups are required in all indoor public areas, dining venues, shops, lobbies and shared resort spaces. Wet swimwear, bare feet and uncovered bathing suits are not permitted in indoor public areas, shops, lobbies or indoor dining venues. Towels do not qualify as shirts, cover-ups or appropriate
Hats, caps and visors should be worn facing forward. Gentlemen are respectfully asked to remove hats, caps and visors when entering indoor dining venues, including the Inn Dining Room, Golf Club Dining Room and The Tavern. Resort robes are reserved for guest rooms and The Spa and should not be worn in dining venues, shops, lobbies or other indoor public areas.
ACCEPTABLE ATTIRE
The following attire categories are used throughout the Club’s facilities.
RESORT CASUAL ATTIRE
Resort casual attire includes collared shirts, polos, blouses, sweaters, sundresses, skirts, slacks, tailored shorts, well-kept denim and appropriate casual shoes or sandals. Ripped jeans, beachwear, swimwear, tank tops, athletic wear, flip-flops and T-shirts are not appropriate unless specifically noted for a Casual Beachside venue.
SMART CASUAL ATTIRE
Smart casual attire is a polished evening standard. Appropriate attire includes dresses, skirts, blouses, slacks, collared shirts, polos, sport shirts, well-kept denim, dress shoes, loafers or dress sandals. For gentlemen and boys over eight, long pants, collared shirts and closed-toe shoes are required where Smart Casual attire is noted. Sport coats are encouraged but not required.
CASUAL BEACHSIDE ATTIRE
Casual Beachside attire is appropriate for outdoor beachfront, poolside and grab-and-go dining or service areas. Shirts, tops or swimsuit cover-ups and footwear are required when dining or entering service areas. Swimwear must be tasteful, family appropriate and properly covered when away from the immediate beach or pool area. Bare feet, uncovered swimsuits and wet swimwear are not appropriate when seated for dining.
BEACH & POOL ATTIRE
Beach & Pool Attire is permitted only at the beach, pool deck, cabanas, lounge areas and immediate aquatic areas. Swimwear must be tasteful, family-appropriate and suitable for a Club environment. Brazilian-cut, thong-style, risqué or otherwise overly revealing swimwear is not permitted.Shirts, tops or cover-ups and footwear are required when leaving aquatic areas, entering dining venues or service areas, or passing through indoor and shared resort spaces. Towels do not qualify as cover-ups. Bare feet, uncovered swimwear and wet swimwear are not appropriate in indoor public areas, shops, lobbies or indoor dining venues.
PUBLIC AREAS & BOUTIQUES
RESORT CASUAL
Resort casual attire is requested in all indoor public and shared areas, including the Historic Inn lobby, Great Lounge, The Boutique at The Historic Inn, The Gourmet Shop, The Kids’ Shop and other retail areas. Guests coming from the beach, pools or outdoor amenities are asked to wear an appropriate shirt, top or cover-up and footwear before entering indoor public areas. Swimsuits should be covered, and wet swimwear is not appropriate in these spaces.
THE GOURMET SHOP
RESORT CASUAL
The Gourmet Shop is located within the Historic Inn and shares common access with indoor public areas. Resort casual attire is appropriate. Guests coming from the beach or pools are asked to wear an appropriate shirt, top or coverup and footwear before entering. Bare feet, wet swimwear and uncovered bathing suits are not permitted.
THE INN DINING ROOM
BREAKFAST: RESORT CASUAL
DINNER: SMART CASUAL
The Inn Dining Room offers a polished dining experience within the Historic Inn. Breakfast attire is Resort Casual. For dinner service, Smart Casual attire is required. Gentlemen and boys over eight are required to wear long pants, collared shirts and closed-toe shoes. Sport coats are encouraged but optional. Shorts, athletic wear, beachwear, swimwear, ripped jeans, T-shirts, hats, flip-flops and overly casual attire are not permitted for dinner service.
THE TAVERN RESORT CASUAL
The Tavern is an indoor lounge setting for members and guests 21 and older. Resort Casual attire is required. Ripped jeans, T-shirts, flipflops, beachwear, swimwear, athletic wear and tank tops are not permitted. Gentlemen are asked to remove hats, caps and visors upon entering.
GOLF CLUB DINING ROOM
& GOLF CLUB BAR [19TH HOLE LOUNGE]

The Golf Club Dining Room and Golf Club Bar offer a relaxed yet polished Club setting. Resort Casual attire and appropriate golf attire are welcome. Ripped jeans, T-shirts, flip-flops, beachwear, swimwear, athletic gym attire and tank tops are not permitted. Gentlemen are asked to remove hats, caps and visors when entering the dining room.

THE SANDPIPER
CASUAL BEACHSIDE
The Sandpiper offers outdoor dining at The Driftwood House. Casual Beachside attire is permitted. Shirts, tops or swimsuit cover-ups and footwear are required when dining. Swimwear must be tasteful, family-appropriate and properly covered when away from the immediate beach or pool area. Bare feet, uncovered swimsuits and wet swimwear are not appropriate when seated for dining.
THE BAR AT THE DRIFTWOOD HOUSE
CASUAL BEACHSIDE
The Bar at The Driftwood House is an outdoor oceanfront venue. Casual Beachside attire is permitted. Shirts, tops or swimsuit cover-ups and footwear are required when dining or seated at the bar. Swimwear must be tasteful, familyappropriate and properly covered when away from the immediate beach or pool area. Bare feet, uncovered swimsuits and wet swimwear are not appropriate when seated for dining or bar service.
PRIVATE EVENTS & BANQUETS
Private events, weddings, Club events and holiday functions may have separate attire requirements. Unless otherwise noted, daytime events are resort casual and evening events are smart casual. Event-specific attire will be communicated when applicable.
ROOM SERVICE APPROPRIATE COVERING REQUIRED
Guests are asked to be appropriately covered when receiving food or turndown service from Club staff.
BEACHES & POOLS
The beach and pool areas are relaxed, familyoriented environments. Appropriate swimwear is required for all members and guests using the pools, beach and related amenities.
Swimwear must be tasteful, family-appropriate and provide suitable coverage. Revealing or risqué swimwear is not permitted, including thong-style, Brazilian-cut or otherwise overly revealing swimwear. Transparent swimwear, visible undergarments and clothing not designed for swimming are not appropriate.
Bare feet and uncovered swimwear are permitted only at the beach, pool deck and immediate aquatic areas. Shirts, tops or swimsuit cover-ups and footwear are required when leaving these areas, including when entering dining venues, retail spaces, indoor public areas or shared resort spaces. Towels do not qualify as cover-ups, and wet swimwear is not appropriate in indoor public areas, shops, lobbies or indoor dining venues.
Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim-approved diapers or appropriate swimmer shorts while using the pools.
Members and guests who are unsure whether swimwear is appropriate are encouraged to ask a manager or recreation team member for guidance. Management may respectfully request that a member or guest change, cover up or relocate if attire does not align with Club standards.
FITNESS & GYM
Proper athletic attire is required in the Gym, fitness studios and exercise areas. Shirts or athletic tops and appropriate closed-toe athletic shoes are required unless participating in a class where bare feet or alternate footwear is specifically directed by the instructor. Swimwear, denim, sandals, flip-flops, bare feet, cut-offs and clothing that may damage equipment or create a safety concern are not permitted in the Gym or fitness areas.
THE GOLF CLUB
Appropriate golf attire is required on the Ocean Course, Lagoon Course, practice facilities and golf-related areas.
Gentlemen and boys should wear collared or mock-collar golf shirts with tailored golf slacks or golf shorts. Shirts should be tucked in unless designed to be worn untucked. Ladies and girls should wear appropriate golf tops, blouses, golf slacks, golf shorts, skirts, skorts or dresses designed for golf.
Golf shoes with soft spikes, spikeless golf shoes or appropriate athletic shoes are required. Metal spikes, sandals, flip-flops and bare feet are not permitted on the golf course or practice areas. Denim, cut-offs, gym shorts, running shorts, swimwear, tennis attire, tank tops, T-shirts, cargo shorts, cargo pants and overly casual athletic wear are not appropriate on the golf course or practice facilities.
Hats, caps and visors should be worn facing forward. Gentlemen are asked to remove hats when entering indoor Golf Club dining areas.
CROQUET LAWN & BOCCE COURT
Resort casual attire and soft-sole shoes are required on the Croquet Lawn and Bocce Court. Shoes that may damage the playing surface are not permitted. Prior to play, members and guests should check in as required.
