VOICES OF

Podcast Toolkit Our new audio podcast, “Voices of PVA,” will be launching on September 22, 2026! “Voices of PVA,” a name selected by future listeners, will be the definitive voice of PVA and on life with a spinal cord injury or disease (SCI/D). The podcast will be hosted by U.S. Navy SEAL veteran, Paralympian, and Editor-in-Chief of Paraplegia News (PN) magazine, Al Kovach Jr. — alongside journalist and PVA staff member Chad Stewart. The two will be delivering key insights from veterans with SCI/D, policy leaders, caregivers, researchers, and more who’ve navigated it all. Episodes will drop every other week. PVA’s Marketing & Communications Department compiled this toolkit with promotional materials to help PVA Chapters, members, and staff support the launch of this exciting new effort. These materials can be used as early as Monday, August 17, 2026, until any updated resources are provided. We ask that you please keep PVA’s podcast top of mind and to plug it into your conversations and presentations whenever possible. This toolkit provides ready-to-use language, promotional ideas, and guidance including: 1. Details about “Voices of PVA;” 2. Podcast Talking Points; 3. Six Ways to Get the Word Out; and 4. Sample Social Media Posts and Graphics. We hope you enjoy the “Voices of PVA” podcast and can’t wait to hear your thoughts! Sincerely, PVA’s Marketing and Communications Team P.S. If you have any questions or concerns about the podcast itself, episode topics, and special guests please contact Chad Stewart at ChadS@PVA.org or Oname Thompson, Director of Marketing & Communications at OnameT@PVA.org.
