Non-Magnetc Interconnect Products

In line with Cambion Electronics Limited product development strategy, the non-magnetc range has gone through extensive R&D. Contrary to popular belief, normal free machining grades of Brass are slightly magnetc, as they can contain traces of Iron and Nickel in their compositon, rendering them unsuitable for sensitve applicatons, such as MRI (Magnetc Resonance Imaging) Scanners & Mine Detecton Equipment. By careful control of raw material and platng selecton and using the latest Magnetoscope technology magnetc permeability is tghtly monitored ensuring the customer has absolute confdence. The range perfectly complements Cambion Electronics Limited existng product portolio of industry favourites by retaining all the benefcial characteristcs of the standard equivalents.

Sockets – A range of discrete sockets available in many mountng styles such as soldered, press ft, crimp, surface mount and stackable. Available to accept matng pin Dia. Ø0.41-2.06mm. The internal contact forms an hourglass shape with compound curvature that makes contact with 60% of the circumference of the mated pin, ensuring no discontnuity partcularly adept in high vibraton applicatons.

Pins – Precision engineered to be compatble with loose piece sockets and thereby provide positve and lastng electrical connectons with low contact resistance. Pin diameters are held to +/0.05mm (0.002”).

Polygon Pin – A range of machined pins allowing for press-ft terminaton to PCBs. Available with various stand-of heights.

Terminal – A wide range of sloted, forked and pin styles in a range of sizes to suit standard board thicknesses. All variatons are available insulated or non-insulated with a choice of mountng method. Cambion also ofers a comprehensive range of inserton tools to assist assembly.

Panasonic Industry announces the launch of its latest innovation in PIR motion sensors: the Flat Wide Detection Type (12 lens), being the frst product incorporating the new PaPIRs+ technology.

Danisense extends range of DN1000ID current transducers

In response to a key customer requirement, Danisense has expanded its DN1000ID current transducer product family with the introduction of the new DN1000ID-CP02 model.

The DN1000ID-CP02 current transducer features a signifcantly increased creepage and clearance distance of 38mm, compared with 11mm for the standard DN1000ID version. In addition, the permissible voltage for uninsulated cables has been raised from 1000V to 3200V. As system voltages continue to rise across a wide range of applications, these enhancements make the new device particularly well suited for power measurement and power analysis in EV chargers, power inverters, and battery energy storage systems.

Additional target applications include EV test benches, particle accelerators, MRI systems and medical scanners, battery testing and evaluation equipment, current calibration systems, and other precision current-sensing applications.

Wireless module maker Embit signs NeoMesh wireless protocol stack licensing agreement

NeoCortec announces that Italian wireless module manufacturer Embit, has signed a NeoMesh software licensing agreement.

n stock at Powell Electronics is the 0.635 mm pitch AcceleRate mP connector series, a next-generation family of high-density, highspeed power and signal arrays designed for the increasingly demanding requirements of AI, HPC, and advanced datacom applications.

Engineered for exceptional density and performance, the AcceleRate mP series features a compact, low-profle architecture with standard 5 mm and 10 mm stack heights. The connectors support up to 64 Gbps PAM4 (32 Gbps NRZ) and are fully capable of meeting PCIe 6.0 and CXL 3.1 requirements.

A defning characteristic of the new series is the use of rotated power blades, which signifcantly improve thermal behaviour while simplifying the breakout region. The open-pin-feld layout further enhances routing and grounding fexibility, making the system ideal for dense, high-performance design environments.
