New in 2020, R-LOCK edge74 provides a much sought after, fullyadjustable one-side-fit glass balustrade solution. Designed to provide the greatest possible adjustment opportunities, this system enables each glass panel to be perfectly aligned during installation. The perfect choice for high-rise residential installations where up to 0.74kN frameless glass balustrade is required. One-side-fit facilitates easy installation to high-rise environments. The hybrid wedge and resin-pod system means that R-LOCKedge74 is as easy to uninstall as it is to install. The F-profile allows R-LOCKedge74 to be installed flush to the edge of your concrete or steel substrate. R-LOCKedge74 makes installing glass balustrade to challenging locations more accessible and more costeffective than ever before.

One of the most adjustable one-side-fit balustrade systems to hit the marketplace. R-LOCKedge74 benefits from patented technology that enables both the installation and alignment of glass from the inside, saving time and money.
R-LOCKedge74 benefits from a highly forgiving panel adjustment capability from the vertical; 10mm to the exterior edge and 23mm into the interior edge. This allows the glass panels to be perfectly aligned during installation.
A simple wedge and wet-glazed balustrade system where resin is used in a controlled way, within a resin-pod system, for a clean installation. As easy to uninstall as it is to install, with the use of a simple wedge-breaking tool.

R-LOCKedge74 is accredited and approved in line with BS 6180:2011 to verify that it meets national building regulations for use as edge protection, where up to 0.74kN force loading is required.
R-LOCKedge74 is compatible with 21.5mm PVB laminate glass. With this configuration of channel and glass, no posts or handrails are required, creating an aesthetically beautiful safety barrier.
Precision engineered using extruded aluminum with a geometrically hollowed out core; providing an incredible strength to weight ratio. For added protection R-LOCKedge74 is anodised to 25 microns.

Each pod takes approximately five full pumps, until the resin can be seen seeping out of the corners of the resin-pods. 6. ADD FLIPPER GASKET The resin gels in 20 minutes*, once gelled, the internal co-extruded flipper gasket can be clipped on. The full cure time is 90 minutes*. *Timings are based on 5°C and is reduced in warmer conditions.

The table below shows the line loading that R-LOCKedge74 is certified to achieve when installed using 21.52mm PVB laminate glass at 1200mm high, on a steel or concrete substrate.
These tests have been conducted in accordance with BS6180:2011 to certify that R-LOCKedge74 meets the 0.74kN force loading requirement under British standards for use as edge protection in single family domestic dwellings.
