A LITTLE REMINDER OF WHO WE ARE
Interview with Vita Nivelle, author of More Than a Woman.
What was the hardest part of writing your book?
Vita, tell us a little bit about you.
I think one of the obstacles was when you want to put so much out and sometimes you get lost in the order of how to put it all together. You know, sometimes the human mind is overwhelmed with thoughts. And it's challenging when you have to actually put it on a piece of paper to bring it to the world, because the thought is very quick, just seconds. That was my obstacle.
I was born in Ukraine, but moved to England in 1998 with zero knowledge of English. And after 25 years, I can speak and write. I do many things, as any woman does. I'm a mother, a daughter, a sister, a professional and an investor. All these roles are filling up my life and I'm very happy and excited about all of them.

Your book is entitled More Than a Woman. What's the essence of the book? The book is about women, but I wouldn't say men shouldn't read it either, because they should know what women go through, their emotions and their feelings. We all have our labels, like mother, sister, daughter. But sometimes those labels shrink us. We're wearing so many crowns with all different labels and it has a big weight on us, but sometimes we forget who we actually are. We forget our values and what we enjoy in life because we put too much energy into somebody else. My book is just a reminder, a little note of “Look! This is who we are.” Remember our routines, remember our rituals. Our values are important, stick to them and have boundaries. What do you think are the challenges women face in today's world? I think one of the challenges women face today is that they forget about values. And sometimes we don't pay attention to those values and allow people to push the boundaries until we're losing our peace. Especially in this modern world
world, where there is so much pressure from outside on how you should be, how you should look. It’s all coming from our hearts. If you are beautiful inside, if you feel peace and harmony inside, it will shine out to the world. What is the hope for the impact your book might have? When a woman reads the book, I hope she can take many interesting things for herself. If it reminds you of what you already knew, you start applying it in your life and share it with other women. I hope that my book will reach the hearts of other women who may be struggling or don't know the answers. It's all about empowering and helping each other.
