BATTER UP! Peoria: A Heavy Hitter in Spring Training Peoria Sports Complex, home of the San Diego Padres and Seattle

TIMELESS TRADITIONS Bravo Peoria! In celebration of literature and learning, the City of Peoria and Friends of the Peoria Public Library host Bravo Peoria! every year in March at Sunrise Mountain Library. Part of the Peoria Public Library system, which serves the communities of north Peoria and the surrounding area, Sunrise Mountain is located next the future Camino á Lago Park, opening late 2013. A free one-day festival of sorts, Bravo Peoria! kicks off with the Friends of the Peoria Public Library Book Sale to raise much-needed funds in support of Sunrise Mountain Library and the city’s Main Library located at the Peoria Municipal Complex. This showcase of family fun features an array of activities for children, teens and adults, including classes on e-readers and digital downloads, children’s crafts, face painting, tattoos and balloon making.
