MANILA, Philippines — In a glitzy ceremony held in the heart of Manila on December 11, 2025, the global spotlight turned toward the Mojave Desert. PHLV Radio, the premier local broadcast station for Filipino Americans in Las Vegas, officially ascended to the world stage as its hit program, Immigration Law On Your Side, was honored with the prestigious Radio Journalism Award at the 2025 Migration Advocacy and Media (MAM) Awards. Omission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) under the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines, the MAM Awards are the gold standard for recognizing media excellence in the Filipino diaspora. This year’s competition was fierce, with 18 winners selected from a pool of 95 entries spanning 17 countries.
