The 21st edition of the GREENFLEET Awards celebrates the organisations, individuals and innovations driving fleet decarbonisation. Ahead of the ceremony on 4 December at Coventry Building Society Arena, we take an in-depth look at this year’s shortlist – packed with examples of outstanding progress, ambition and leadership
The shortlist for the GREENFLEET Awards 2025 has been revealed, highlighting the remarkable innovation and leadership driving progress in fleet decarbonisation.
Now in its 21st year, the GREENFLEET Awards honour the organisations and individuals leading the charge towards decarbonising fleet and transport operations. They include the pioneering fleet operators reducing their environmental impact, vehicle manufacturers enhancing their green vehicle range and suppliers helping fleets progress on their journey to zero emissions.
The EV Champion Awards, now in their 13th year, will continue to be presented to individuals working in the fleet, transport, and automotive industries that advocate
for electric vehicles. The winners will be announced on the night, with no shortlist.
GREENFLEET’s Award for Outstanding Achievement will also be unveiled on the night, and is presented to the individual, organisation, or project that has achieved major success in fleet and transport decarbonisation.

F Mobility Provider of the Year
The Mobility Provider of the Year award recognises efforts to reduce the environmental impact of business and fleet travel with innovative measures such as zero-emission vehicles, car clubs, car sharing, flexible rental and leasing, as well as the promotion of public transport and active travel.
PragmaCharge has earned its place on the shortlist for transforming freight electrification into a true mobility service. By uniting electric trucks, tailored charging infrastructure and intelligent fleet management into one integrated, finance-ready package, it removes the barriers that slow operators’ shift to zero-emission mobility.
Europcar Mobility Group is recognised for delivering flexible, commitment-free mobility that accelerates the shift to low and zero-emission fleets. Recent innovations include its Flex Model Choice which gives the flexibility of rental with the vehicle model certainty of leasing, alongside its growing choice of BEVs and PHEVs and significant investment in charging infrastructure.
Voltric has has been shortlisted for making electric mobility easy and accessible through its all-inclusive EV subscription model. By removing the barriers of EV ownership and creating strong partnerships, Voltric provides a simple and flexible pathway for organisations to transition to sustainable mobility.
Motor Assist is highlighted for redefining post-accident mobility in the EV era. As a fully integrated incident-management and mobility provider, it guarantees EV-for-EV replacements and has grown its electric replacement vehicle fleet and expanded its charging infrastructure.
Co Wheels is recognised for delivering a truly sustainable, community-focused alternative to car ownership at national scale. Thirty per cent of its fleet is fully electric, which will rise to 90 per cent hybrid or EV by 2026. Co Wheels
also delivers corporate fleet sharing solutions for councils, businesses and universities.
Engineius completes the Mobility Provider of the Year shortlist for its green vehicle-movement model, saving fleets over 10 million tonnes of CO2 by eliminating chaser vehicles and using smart, low-impact methods for driver travel, such as through its electric bike subscriptions.
IT Innovation
The IT Innovation examines the latest advancements in fleet technology, including fleet management software, telematics, route tracking and other IT related transport technology.
Samsara has been shortlisted for its innovative Connected Operations Platform, which enables organisations to connect, manage and run complex fleet operations from a single platform, giving them real-time insights to cut emissions and reduce fuel waste.

Also making the shortlist in the IT Innovation category is VEV, which has been recognised for its pioneering data-driven platform VEV-IQ that unifies vehicles, chargers and power management to remove complexity from fleet electrification. By preventing costly infrastructure overspend, VEV-IQ enables fleets to electrify confidently, efficiently and at scale.
Teletrac Navman has been shortlisted for its innovative Electric Vehicle Evaluator (EVE) platform, which uses real-world telematics data and predictive analytics to help fleets plan, cost and design their transition to electric vehicles with confidence. Meanwhile its sustainability dashboard simplifies emissions reporting by providing a snapshot of fuel-cost savings.
Octopus Fleet has been shortlisted for its innovative, suite of tools that simplifies fleet electrification – from unified payment cards and a centralised fleet management platform to home-charging reimbursement and salary-sacrifice for public charging.
The IT Innovation Award also sees Volteum shortlisted, recognised for its Electric Fleet Planner (EFP) that enables organisations to model their transition to EVs, and its Electric Fleet Operations (EFO) solution which manages the day-to-day running of electric fleets.
Rightcharge has been shortlisted for its advanced EV charging payments platform, unifying home charging reimbursements, public charging access and consolidated invoicing into one automated, accurate and HMRC-compliant system – removing one of the biggest barriers to electrification.
ONO has been shortlisted for transforming fleet incident management with a simple, tap-and-go platform that streamlines reporting, triage and resolution. By capturing verified photos, GPS data, and timestamps in real time, ONO reduces downtime, protects revenue, and improves driver experience.

Ohme has been shortlisted for its leadership in smart EV charging, providing innovative home and workplace solutions that deliver significant cost and CO2 savings for fleets.
Trusted by major organisations like Motability, the NHS and leading manufacturers, Ohme’s dynamic charging technology and fleet management tools make the transition to electric vehicles efficient, affordable, and sustainable.
VEV has earned its place on the shortlist for its commitment to making electrification practical, scalable and commercially viable. VEV partners with businesses to create end-to-end solutions for fleet transformation - from data-led planning to turnkey infrastructure and microgrids, smart energy tariffs, and day-to-day optimisation. Also a contender in the Fleet & Workplace Charging Provider category, Voltshare is recognised for its innovative, pay-as-you-go EV charging model that removes financial barriers for businesses while generating measurable environmental impact. Voltshare’s partnership with Treenation has resulted in planting 433 trees and reforesting 0.43 hectares.

3ti concludes the shortlist and has been recognised for its innovative, sustainable approach to fleet and workplace charging. By combining solar power, smart technology, and rapid-deployment solutions like the Papilio3 Smart Solar EV Charging FastHub, 3ti delivers flexible and scalable infrastructure.

It recognises the public and on-street charging provider that can demonstrate excellence in its customer satisfaction and reliability rates, as well as its efforts to tackle challenges to EV adoption through its solutions.
Qwello has been shortlisted in this category for its driver-focused approach to tackling the real-world barriers to EV adoption. With 99 per cent operational uptime, fully accessible chargers, smart reservations, inclusive payment options, and fair tariff structures, Qwello delivers dependable, equitable and easy-to-use public charging.
Allego has been recognised for its rapid growth of EV charging sites in the UK, which in 2025, grew by 90 per cent. Among these are flagship sites at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes and Chatham Dockside Outlet in Kent. What’s more, Allego is the first in the world to launch the most secure version of Plug & Charge for tamper-proof EV charging.
Believ has been shortlisted in celebration of its user-centred design and positive driver feedback. Proving its commitment to accessibility, Believ is testing new, accessible bay designs in collaboration with Waltham Forest, Newham, and Redbridge.
Also recognised for its commitment to accessibility, Osprey Charging Network has been shortlisted for its future-ready rapid charging across the UK. As the country’s thirdlargest public DC network – with awardwinning customer satisfaction, 99 per cent uptime, and a growing portfolio of highpowered hubs – Osprey is committed to equitable access to rapid charging. Arnold Clark Charge has been shortlisted for its rapid, high-impact entry into the UK charging market, delivering more than 50 ultra-rapid public hubs in just one year as part of a major £30 million investment. E.ON Drive has earned its place on the shortlist for its reliable, accessible and futureready EV infrastructure. From transforming Coventry into one of the UK’s best cities for public charging to pioneering high-capacity hubs in Wales and Scotland, E.ON Drive is setting a powerful example in public charging.
The shortlist concludes with MFG (Motor Fuel Group), celebrated for its fast nationwide rollout of ultra-rapid charging, installing more than 1,000 bays across 170 hubs in just four years and transforming convenience with a dual-fuel, customer-centred forecourt model.
Alternative Fuel Provider of the Year
This award, sponsored by the AA, celebrates the alternative fuel provider that can demonstrate an innovative approach to helping fleets of all sizes reduce emissions by adopting alternative fuels such as gas, hydrogen, LPG, and HVO.
Certas Energy has earned its place on the shortlist for its leadership in HVO. This year the company announced a seven-figure investment to expand its HVO storage and supply network and within two months, it expanded its local HVO depot network by seven locations. Meanwhile its new HVO & Diesel Balancing Calculator gives businesses a tailored cost overview of their fuel mix when using both HVO and diesel.
CNG Fuels is also amongst the nominations for the Alternative Fuel Provider of the Year award, in celebration of its leadership in providing 100 per cent renewable Bio-CNG to the UK’s HGV sector, including leading names John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Tesco. Through an expanding national refuelling network, innovative mobile solutions and reliable in-house fuel logistics, CNG Fuels enables fleets to cut emissions by over 90 per cent.

GREENFLEET Award for Industry Innovation
The Industry Innovation award, always one of the most hotly contested categories – is presented to the organisation that can illustrate cutting-edge thinking in a project or method to eliminate CO2 emissions from transport, bringing wider benefits to the fleet industry.
Paua has been shortlisted for its work transforming idle depot chargers into a
nationwide shared charging network by intelligently matching fleet demand with underused infrastructure.
Screen Wash King has been shortlisted for its innovative and sustainable alternative to traditional liquid screen wash, replacing millions of single-use plastic containers with compact, eco-friendly tablets that cut transport emissions, reduce waste and cost no more than conventional products.
Speedy Hire has been shortlisted for continuing to innovate in the fleet space. The company has recently equipped over 175 EVs with solar panels to provide the vehicles with extra power, and has recently collaborated with Thames Clipper Logistics and Cross River Partnership in a trial moving equipment from its Erith distribution centre into its central London Depots.
FSEW has been highlighted for redefining what sustainable logistics looks like. Its groundbreaking project include the UK’s first commercial electric HGV operations with Tesco, the launch of Greenflow for net-zero global freight, and its purchase of a 2.5-acre site in Cardiff which will become a Low Carbon Freight Hub, powered entirely by renewable energy.
With a focus on transforming last-mile delivery, ELM Mobility has been shortlisted for the Industry Innovation Award for its purpose built, ultra-efficient electric L7e vehicle platform that cuts costs, emissions and congestion. Its lightweight, configurable design and smart connected technology delivers a future-ready solution for cleaner, more efficient city deliveries.
Zenobē has been shortlisted for delivering a pioneering fleet-electrification project with Nottingham City Council that transformed a Victorian tram shed into a fully functional modern electric bus depot, overcoming severe spatial, structural, and grid-connection constraints. The space now powers 78 electric buses in Nottingham.
Paythru has been shortlisted for creating the EV Payments Charter – a groundbreaking, collaborative initiative that tackles one of the barriers to EV adoption: inconsistent and frustrating payment experiences at public charge points. By uniting CPOs, payment providers and industry bodies around a clear, user-centred framework, Paythru is driving systemic change.
Dawsongroup makes a worthy entrant in the Industry Innovation category for its groundbreaking microgrid, which combines E
F renewable energy, storage and intelligent energy management to deliver immediate operational, financial, and environmental benefits. The project sets a new benchmark for practical, scalable innovation in the commercial vehicle sector.
Flexis has been shortlisted for its innovative approach to electric light commercial vehicles. Formed in 2024 as a joint venture between Renault Group, Volvo Group and CMA CGM Group, the company was created to revolutionise city logistics through purposebuilt, fully electric vans and a complete ecosystem of connected fleet services.
Completing this packed-full category is Indra Renewable Technologies which has been shortlisted in celebration of its Indraverse app, a UK-built platform that transforms EV fleet charging by seamlessly linking vehicles, drivers and energy providers. By optimising charging using green energy and automating reimbursements, Indraverse transforms EV charging from a basic utility into a fully integrated fleet solution.
LCV Manufacturer of the Year
The LCV Manufacturer of the Year award recognises vehicle makers that can demonstrate innovative thinking in their design and production of zero-emission light commercial
vehicles, and can illustrate a focus on sustainability in their manufacturing processes.
IVECO has been shortlisted for its leadership in delivering practical, low and zero-emission commercial vehicles. The MY24 IVECO eDaily sets a new benchmark for eLCVs with classleading range, payload, and cargo capacity, modular batteries, rapid charging, and advanced features like ePTO and smart route planning, while its CNG and HVO-ready diesel models offer operators viable, mission-ready alternatives to reduce fleet emissions.
MAXUS has also been selected for its diverse range of electric commercial vehicles, from vans to pick-ups and MPVs, all offering zero tailpipe emissions. With robust warranties, comprehensive aftersales support, a nationwide dealer network, and advanced telematics, the brand truly delivers for fleets.
Another entrant is this category is Farizon Auto UK, recognised for the impressive performance and versatility of its SV electric van. Launched in the UK in 2025, the SV has won praise from fleet managers, drivers and tradespeople alike for its range, payload, cargo space, and innovative driver comfort features, while Farizon’s strong aftercare network, including a four-year warranty, mobile servicing, and rapid parts support, ensures vans spend more time on the road.
Vauxhall has been shortlisted for GREENFLEET’s LCV Manufacturer of the Year award for offering a fully electric van range that meets the needs of every business, from the compact Combo Electric to the large Movano Electric. With proven reliability in fleets such as BT Group and Mitie, and a commitment to accessible EV infrastructure, Vauxhall delivers practical, zero-emission solutions that support a sustainable LCV future.
PEUGEOT is highlighted for its outstanding growth in the UK electric van market, now accounting for nearly a fifth of all e-LCV sales. With popular models like the E-PARTNER, E-EXPERT, and E-BOXER, and strong fleet partnerships including Royal Mail, PEUGEOT has a clear commitment to sustainable commercial vehicles.
Mercedes-Benz has been shortlisted thanks to the success of its electric van range, from the eVito to the latest eSprinter, offering businesses reliable, zero-emission solutions. With excellent range and charging performance, strong real-world efficiency, Mercedes-Benz are being operated by major fleets such as Amazon and FedEx.

Completing the shortlist is Renault, recognised for its E-Tech electric range, which combines the brand’s commercial expertise with cutting edge zero-emission technology. From the award-winning Kangoo E-Tech to the spacious Trafic E-Tech and high-capacity Master E-Tech, Renault’s vans deliver real-world usability.
HGV Manufacturer of the Year
The HGV Manufacturer of the Year award recognises the manufacturer of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) over 7.5 Tonnes that can demonstrate innovative thinking in its design and production of zero-emission trucks, and can illustrate a focus on sustainability in its manufacturing processes.
DAF Trucks UK has been shortlisted for its commitment to innovation, which is exemplified by the new generation DAF trucks, which feature advanced aerodynamic designs, cutting-edge powertrains, and intelligent driver assistance systems that reduce emissions while enhancing operational efficiency. Its electric trucks, meanwhile are designed to meet the growing demand for clean urban and regional delivery solutions, with zero tailpipe emissions and quiet operation.
Also selected for the HGV Manufacturer of the year award is IVECO, applauded for its approach of offering a range alternative fuels, such as those that run on natural gas, as well as the electric S-eWay Rigid which boasts a 248 mile range and has capacity for seven modular batteries within the chassis.

Another contender for GREENFLEET’s

The BMW iX3 completes the shortlist, recognised for combining driving pleasure, advance technology and a long range of up to 500 miles thanks to its highly efficient electric motors, high-voltage batteries with cylindrical cells, and 800-volt technology.

The Fleet Car Manufacturer of the Year award is presented to the car manufacturer that has improved its zero-emission fleet offerings and can illustrate success with fleet buyers and on company car lists.

Carbon-neutral exporting made simple and commercially viable
FSEW is pioneering change with the launch of GreenFlow, a worldwide freight service that empowers businesses to decarbonise their supply chains by moving freight globally by road, rail, sea and air, on a verified net zero basis. GreenFlow builds on FSEW’s established zero-emission fleet operations, leveraging its electric HGV fleet and using certified carbon insetting to move goods in this way. FSEW is the first general freight forwarder in the UK to offer this kind of carbon saving tool using its own electric trucking.
FSEW recently partnered with Welsh firm Siderise to launch GreenFlow, making them the first exporter in the UK to achieve net zero logistics operations. Siderise has successfully exported containers net zero, from Maesteg base to Jebel Ali Port in Dubai. Using FSEW’s own electric HGVs, the UK leg avoids diesel use entirely, delivering zero tailpipe emissions. For the sea leg, certified carbon insetting ensures an equivalent reduction in marine diesel consumption and associated emissions.

Athlon is highlighted for its holistic approach to sustainable motoring and road safety. PragmaCharge completes the shortlist for Leasing Provider of the Year for redefining how leasing supports the electrification of heavy goods vehicles. Its Electric Truck as a Service (eTaaS) model combines vehicle finance with charging infrastructure and fleet management technology into a single, fully managed leasing solution.

The Leasing Company of the Year award, for organisations with a larger fleet, is presented to the company that can demonstrate policies and an ethos focused on sustainability, emissions-reduction and the transition to net zero.
Ayvens has made the shortlist in recognition of its work creating fresh EV fleet solutions combining vehicles, charging, insurance, consultancy and digital tools. Over the past year, they’ve grown their EV and eLCV fleets, delivered innovative salary sacrifice schemes, and provided cutting-edge insights on battery health and total cost of ownership.
Lex Autolease, part of Lloyds Banking Group, manages 350,000 vehicles and is a central driver of UK fleet decarbonisation, funding one in eight ULEVs on UK roads. Alphabet has been shortlisted for its innovative approach to corporate leasing, combining traditional fleet management
with advanced eMobility solutions, flexible rental options and smart digital tools. The company has recently been awarded the EcoVadis silver medal in recognition of its commitment to greener and responsible business practices across the four pillars of environment, labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Public Sector Commercial Fleet of the Year
The Public Sector Commercial Fleet of the Year award is presented to the UK public sector organisation that can illustrate CO2reduction through the adoption of zero and low-emission vans and trucks, as well as innovative-thinking to overcome challenges to decarbonising commercial vehicle operations.
Platform Housing, one of the UK’s largest Housing Associations, has been shortlisted for its proactive transition to electric vehicles, rolling out 44 eLCVs across a 630-strong fleet and installing workplace and domestic chargers. Their eLCV transition has already delivered significant environmental benefits, including CO2 reduction equivalent to 2,827 trees.
The Public Sector Commercial Fleet of the Year award is presented to the UK public sector organisation that can illustrate CO2-reduction through the adoption of zero and low-emission vans and trucks, as well as innovativethinking to overcome decarbonisation challenges
Scottish Water has earned its place on the shortlist for its impressive roll out of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, with over 560 electric cars, 200 electric vans, 15 electric forklifts, and an electric HGV. Recent innovations include a trial of the Tual batterypowered charging unit and a trial HVO for a limited number of high mileage vehicles.
Falkirk Council has been selected for its transition away from diesel commercial vehicles. With over half of its 450-strong fleet now electric and many vehicles using HVO, the Council has cut CO2 emissions by 39 per cent, reduced fuel use by 113,000 litres, and delivered reliable, cleaner services across multiple departments.
The London Borough of Islington meanwhile has achieved significant success in its fleet electrification journey, replacing more than 120 vehicles with BEVs and saving over 500 tonnes of CO2 annually while maintaining high service uptime. Their innovative work, including repowered electric RCVs, groundbreaking V2G trials, and shared charging infrastructure, has earned them a place on the Public Sector Commercial Fleet of the Year shortlist.
The London Ambulance Service stands out for its rapid transition to a greener fleet, having close to 200 electric and hybrid vehicles, introducing the UK’s first fully electric frontline ambulance and cutting fleet emissions by over 1,000 tonnes of CO2e each year. With major investment in charging infrastructure, pioneering shared-hospital charging solutions and clear net-zero commitments, the LAS is leading the way in sustainable emergency response.

Public Sector Car Fleet of the Year
The Public Sector Car Fleet of the Year is presented to the public sector organisation that can demonstrate excellent progress in its journey to a zero-emission fleet through the adoption to electric cars and other innovative measures to decarbonise.
National Highways has earned its place on the shortlist, in recognition of the challenging task of decarbonising a round-the-clock operational fleet. Now all 900 cars and vans are either PHEV or BEV, and all ICE vehicles have been removed from the fleet. By March 2026, 56 per cent of the fleet will be pure EV, whilst the remainder will be PHEV.
East of England Ambulance Service is highlighted for its work moving to zero emission vehicles. It now has 17 electric rapid response vehicles and 12 electric mental health response vehicles, with electric ambulances expected to begin trials in selected locations in the near future.
The Christie at Home service, as part of The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, has introduced a fully electric fleet of vehicles for nurses to use to deliver the service, replacing the previous petrol-powered vehicles. The Christie’s medical physics and engineering staff meanwhile, who maintain vital radiotherapy equipment throughout the North West, have two electric vehicles while the security team utilises an electric van.
West Mercia Police now has 55 electric vehicles on fleet, replacing diesel to deliver expected annual savings of £30,000 and cutting carbon emissions by 80 tonnes of CO2 each year. The vehicles are used by policing teams that support frontline officers across the region and are part of West Mercia Police’s wider strategy to achieve net zero by 2050.
Private Sector Commercial Fleet of the Year
The Private Sector Commercial Fleet of the Year Award, presented by Flexis, is presented to the UK private sector organisation that can illustrate CO2-reduction through the adoption of zero and low-emission vans and trucks, as well as innovative-thinking to overcome challenges to decarbonising commercial vehicle operations.
Nicholls Transport stands out for its pioneering use of biomethane, which deliver 208 per cent GHG savings according to renewable Fuel declarations issued by Zemo Partnership. Nicholls have also obtained planning permission for a refuelling station offering LNG, CNG, electric charging and potentially hydrogen at its site in Sittingbourne.
Royal Mail has earned its place on the shortlist for its impressive scale and speed of fleet decarbonisation. Over 8,000 EVs, 3,000 charge points, HGV electrification trials, and extensive workforce training have delivered a 27 per cent emissions reduction. Royal Mail now records an average carbon footprint of 165g CO2e per parcel – the lowest reported in the UK delivery sector.
Another finalist in the Private Sector Commercial Fleet of the Year category is Ocado, in celebration of its adoption of biomethane HGVs, delivering major NOx and CO2 reductions, and investing heavily in its own refuelling infrastructure. The company’s move into electric vans and work to develop hydrogen home-delivery vans, alongside solar-powered, efficiency-optimised doubledeck trailers, shows a multi-technology commitment to decarbonising logistics.
The AA stands out for quadrupling the number of alternatively fuelled vehicles on its fleet, with more than 50 now in daily operation. This includes four fully electric recovery trucks, which were bespoke engineered by The AA in partnership with others. These vehicles have achieved emissions reductions of up to 74 per cent per mile versus diesel. E

F Another finalist is Uniserve, recognised for cutting fleet emissions through the adoption of Bio-LNG trucks, which deliver up to 95 per cent CO2 savings, and optimising operations with Longer SemiTrailers to reduce journey volumes.
FSEW has also made the shortlist in this category, in celebration of having a diesel free fleet, achieved a year ahead of schedule. All FSEW vehicles are either electric or biomethane trucks, resulting in 2.4 million carbon intensive ‘diesel kms’ being avoided.
The John Lewis Partnership stands out for reducing fleet emissions by over 50 per cent, converting 90 per cent of its HGVs to renewable biomethane, and committing to a fully electric van and light-truck fleet by 2030. With major innovations in the aerodynamic shape of its trailers, the fleet exemplifies innovation in the decarbonisation space.
Private Sector Car Fleet of the Year
This award, sponsored by Drax Electric Vehicles, is presented to the private sector organisation that can demonstrate progress in its journey to a zero-emission fleet through the adoption of electric cars.
Sherbet, The Electric Taxi Co, has earned its place on the shortlist for operating a 96 per cent electric fleet of more than 530 vehicles and driving major reductions in urban emissions. Through infrastructure investment and strong driver support, it has created a scalable, commercially successful model for zero-emission taxi fleets.
VolkerWessels UK has been shortlisted for its company car fleet, with 90 per cent of vehicles now fully electric or hybrid – over 1,200 cars, including 825 fully electric – demonstrating a major reduction in business mileage emissions.

Launched at the start of 2024, the Electric Fleet Race offers a monthly insight into the organisations leading the way in EV numbers. The 2024 winner was Royal Mail in recognition of its impressive electric van fleet, which at the time, was around 5,000 vehicles. This year, there are three awards recognising fleets in the small, medium and large categories. L
Sustainable long-haul freight
The Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 represents a transformative leap in sustainable heavy-duty transport and is a standout contender for the GreenFleet Vehicle of the Year Award. More than a technological milestone, it is a practical, operationally ready solution to decarbonising long-haul freight – one of the most challenging sectors to transition
At its core, the eActros 600 delivers the performance and reliability fleets need while significantly reducing environmental impact. Its three lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery packs provide 621 kWh of energy, enabling a real-world range of at least 500 km and – as demonstrated this year – up to 700 km on a single charge. Designed with charging infrastructure of the future in mind, it supports DC fast charging at up to 400 kW and is engineered for megawatt charging (MCS), which will cut 20%–80% charging times to around 30 minutes. This capability confirms the eActros 600 as a true long-haul workhorse.
This performance is fully scalable. With a gross combination weight of up to 44 tonnes and a typical payload of 22 tonnes, the eActros 600 can exceed 1,000 km per day when charging is aligned with legally required driver breaks. Its in-house electric drive axle delivers 400 kW of continuous power and peaks at 600 kW, proving that zero-emission transport can match the demands of long-distance haulage.
Sustainability is central to the vehicle’s design. Its LFP batteries are free from nickel and cobalt, reducing environmental and ethical concerns associated with mineral extraction. When powered by renewable electricity, the eActros 600 can reduce CO 2-equivalent emissions by up to 80% compared with a diesel equivalent, and Mercedes-Benz projects a break-even carbon balance after just over 100,000 km.
For heavy-duty fleets, this represents a significant shift toward cleaner logistics.
The truck also excels in driver wellbeing and operational practicality. The streamlined ProCabin improves aerodynamics and reduces noise, while the Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 provides intuitive, connected control. Power take-off (ePTO) options allow refrigeration units, cranes, and other equipment to operate emissions-free, enhancing its versatility across applications.
The eActros 600 is not just a vision of the future; it is entering real-world operation today. Major operators such as Amazon have placed substantial orders, and the model’s International Truck of the Year 2025 award reflects its industry impact. With Mercedes-Benz Trucks achieving a 44.2%% share ytd 2025 of this rapidly expanding segment above 7.49t, the eActros 600 is clearly setting new standards.
