Friday night football games under the lights, with our students, parents, and supporters cheering on our athletes brings so much excitement and pride to the Stallion community. Our coaches and players are continuing to push themselves, and have put in work throughout the off-season to make our Stallions strong. Providence is proud of how our fans support our athletes.
There is no greater community than Providence. We thank our sponsors, volunteers, parents, coaches, and players for tirelessly working towards a great football season. Your support is crucial to our success and without you, the level of excellence we continue to produce would not be possible.
This year our student athletes and coaches are “ALL IN” as we play the great game of football together as one community in the body of Christ. Thank you and GO STALLIONS!!!

STALLIONS FOOTBALL HEAD COACH
This season marks Coach Maurice Williams’ fourth year as Head Football Coach of the Providence Stallions.
Coach Williams’ football journey began at Pershing High School in Detroit, where he earned recognition as a USA Today All-American, Parade All-American, and the #1 recruit in the state of Michigan, according to the Detroit Free Press.
In 1997, he chose to attend the University of Michigan, where he was a member of three Big Ten Championship teams and the 1997 National Championship team. By his senior year, Coach Williams earned a starting role for the Wolverines and was named All-Big Ten Conference Honorable Mention.
The Jacksonville Jaguars selected him in the 2nd round of the 2001 NFL Draft, and he went on to start over 100 games during his eight-year NFL career before retiring in 2009.
Since retirement, Coach Williams has continued to invest in the game and community, serving as Chaplain for the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he shares the love of Christ with players, coaches, and families.
Beyond football, Coach Williams is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Reulonda, have been married for 20 years and are proud parents of four sons—Mason, Myles, Maxx, and Roman. The Williams family are active members of Celebration Church, where Coach Williams also serves as a licensed minister.
