2016 ProVision Conference
Cairns Convention Centre, QLD
8, 9 & 10 September
A DA P T TO A W O R L D O F C H A N G E
Over 200 years ago, Charles Darwin was famously quoted, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” With a new age of automation, one where technology and society are evolving faster than many organizations can adapt to the changes, these words have never resonated more clearly. ProVision’s Relevance National Conference is designed to help you keep pace with market and consumer changes today and into the future. If you are not evolving your offer, how do you stay relevant? Our theme was inspired by author and our first keynote speaker, Michael McQueen and his book ‘Winning the Battle For Relevance’. He will explore why even the greatest become obsolete and how to avoid their fate. With a world class line-up of speakers to follow, our formal conference program is sure to inspire. We’ll spend three entertaining days exploring contemporary thinking from different perspectives:
THE CONSUMER What do they want from you to secure their loyalty and referral?
YOUR STA FF What do they want from you to be an employer of choice?
THE RETAIL ENVIRONMENT How does it need to look and feel to be compelling to patients? Tropical Cairns is the fitting setting for our event as it’s home to the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef system, facing its own battle for survival. Even coral can adapt to chemical changes in the ocean by changing their structural composition. The purpose-built Cairns convention centre is within walking distance of an abundance
of accommodation types with hotels and apartments on most corners. We have provided some suggestions in this booklet. Take the opportunity to build relationships and swap ideas with your peers, suppliers and ProVision staff in a world-class facility in the tropical surrounds of Cairns. We have lots of fun in store with a cocktail welcome event, trade show and gala dinner! Why not plan a few extra days either side of the conference and take a well-earned break in this iconic Australian location, a perfect getaway for the whole family? We genuinely look forward to recharging your batteries at Relevance 2016. We invite you to register your practice team and family today.

COME GATHER ‘ROUND PEOPLE
The wants and needs of your clients are changing constantly, and you have new competitors emerging left, right and centre. Michael’s presentation will help you to understand how you can remain relevant in an increasingly dynamic market.

His first book, The ‘New’ Rules of Engagement focuses on strategies for leading and connecting with Generation Y. His newest release, Winning the Battle for Relevance is a revealing look at why even the greatest brands and organisations become obsolete... and how to avoid their fate. Michael is a familiar face on the international conference circuit having shared the stage with the likes of Bill Gates, Whoopi Goldberg and Larry King. He has spoken to hundreds of thousands of people across 5 continents since 2004 and is known for his high-impact, research-rich and entertaining conference presentations.
