PIC OF THE WEEK:
Mt Buller and world surfing photographer Tony Harrington of The Photo Shop (Mt Buller) took Olympic skier Anton Grimus to the very top of the mountain for a one-on-one photo shoot recently. This magnificent shot – taken late in the afternoon as the sun started setting – portrays good snow and wonderful skiing from the very summit of Buller. To find out how you can win a one-onone, one hour photo shoot with Tony Harrington turn to page 3.

MT BULLER has continued to experience very strong visitation across the 2016 winter season, and to date the resort has welcomed more than 200,000 visitors, which is 27 per cent above the 10-year average for this time of the season. “These high levels of day visitation has meant that additional transport has been required to ensure visitors can be transported safely to and from the Village, and additional staff have also been put on to assist customers around the resort,”

said Mt Buller Mt Stirling RMB chief executive officer John Huber. “We have had these additional services in place since the first big days were experienced, and will do so as far we see similar numbers of guests visiting the resort. “As Mt Buller continues to grow in visitation year on year and demographics change there are new and unique challenges facing the resort, which will see us investigating ways to meet customers’ needs via a range of initiatives,” John said. As the season continues so does the fun on the mountain.

In overcast conditions lantern holders made their way down Bourke Street, providing participants and spectators with
