ProMusica opens its 48th season with Music Director David Danzmayr leading an evening of elegance and emotion. Mozart’s sparkling Divertimento in D Major opens the program, followed by Max Richter’s hauntingly beautiful On the Nature of Daylight. Four vocal soloists join the Columbus Choral Artists and Capital University Chapel Choir for Mozart's majestic Mass in C Minor, creating a powerful and unforgettable collaboration and celebration of music.

Bach’s radiant Orchestral Suite No. 3 is followed by Arvo Pärt’s Tabula Rasa, a meditative and mesmerizing counterpoint – featuring concertmaster Katherine McLin and Creative Partner Vadim Gluzman.
Beethoven’s Pastoral closes the evening offering portraits of nature’s beauty.

ProMusica welcomes back renowned Brazilian American composer Clarice Assad as part of our Composer/Performer Project. Her richly textured Suite for Lower Strings opens the program, followed by her imaginative, rhythmically driven PLAY!, featuring Assad as vocalist alongside the Grammy-Award winning Third Coast Percussion. Schubert’s spirited Symphony No. 3 brings effervescent energy and grace, and Lumbye’s Champagne Gallop toasts a sparkling and festive end to the evening.

Mendelssohn’s Italian brings the program to a radiant close, filled with warmth, color, and vitality.

Pianist Claire Huangci, known for her vividly expressive interpretations, makes her ProMusica debut with Chopin’s elegant Piano Concerto No. 1. The evening concludes with Schumann's triumphant and glorious Rhenish, evoking the picturesque scenes of the Rhine River.
