CD 1, Farr: Orchestral Music (MMT2021) contains all-exclusive Farr recordings, including title work From the Depths Sound the Great Sea Gongs, commissioned by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra for its 50th Anniversary. CD 2, Farr's orchestral single Te Papa (MMT2026) contains title work Te Papa, composed to celebrate the opening of the Museum of New Zealand. Te Papa combines symphony orchestra, operatic soprano and tenor and Maori karanga into a powerful and moving work which 'transcends idiom and individual taste.'
