Its natural composition is important in that it includes the city鈥檚 focal flooding point. Furthermore, the water鈥檚 quality is severed by both industrial contaminants in the periphery of the municipality and illegal discharges. The river is also surrounded by local vegetation.

La extensi贸n del sitio provee una preexistencia robusta, la cual incluye F谩brica la Aurora, un centro cultural y art铆stico; dos escuelas, las cuales tienen estudiantes de kinder a secundaria; y vivienda de baja densidad. Las instituciones educativas son cr铆ticas en que generan una circulaci贸n constante de infantes y padres de familia.
The site鈥檚 extension provides a robust preexistence, which includes Fabrica la Aurora, cultural and artistic centre; two schools which run from kindergarten through year eight, and low-density tenement. The academic institutions are critical in that it produces a constant flow of children and caretakers.

Flujos Peatonales
Como producto del contexto inmediato y el r铆o, actualmente existe una separaci贸n entre el flujo de personas que cruzan en lado norte y sur del r铆o. La esquina sureste tiene la 煤nica entrada vehicular. El norte tiene el flujo predominante, con unos de los accesos de la escuela en su extensi贸n, generando una circulaci贸n constante de infantes durante las horas de entrada y salida. La F谩brica la Aurora trae un flujo constante de visitantes durante toda la semana.
As a product of the surrounding context and river, there presently exists a separation between the flow of people that transit the north and south sides. The southeastern corner has the only vehicular circulation. The north is most predominant, with one of the school鈥檚 entrances generating a constant circulation of children during entrance and exit hours. F谩brica la Aurora also brings a constant flow of visitors during the entire week.
