Location: Washington DC
Year: 2025
Scope: Architecture
Typology: Commercial
Software: Autocad, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion
This project reimagines a pumping station in Washington, DC through the concept of fluidity (inspired by the movement and adaptability of water). It explores how infrastructure that is typically hidden and unpleasant can become engaging through thoughtful design. Flowing forms, controlled light, and layered materials transform the industrial process into a spatial experience. Sun studies informed precise openings and shading strategies, protecting machinery while shaping light within the space. The goal was to invite people in by making the system transparent, educational, and a more graceful part of the city.

The building’s form is inspired by the fluid movement of water, shaping a design that feels continuous and flowing. This fluidity is reflected in the layout, where circulation follows a clear, effortless pathway through the building.

The concept draws a parallel between the hidden sewage network and the Washington DC Metro, both underground systems that quietly sustain the city. Inspired by the Metro’s use of concrete, the materiality expresses strength and permanence while creating open, airy spaces that feel expansive rather than heavy.

The design is shaped by extensive sun path research, using solar movement to inform the placement of spaces according to their function. Windows and louvres are carefully positioned to control heat and light, allowing the right amount of daylight to enter while maintaining thermal comfort throughout the building.

University Project at The Catholic University of America
Location: Mount Nebo, Jordan
Year: 2024
Scope: Architecture
Typology: Spiritual Monastery
Software: Autocad, SketchUp Photoshop, Enscape
This project is designed around the spiritual journey of becoming a Franciscan brother, translating that path into a clear architectural sequence. The plan is shaped by movement, guiding the user through a gradual progression of spaces rather than static rooms. As one walks along this route, the daily life and rituals of the monastery are revealed and understood. The church is placed at the end as the final and symbolic destination. The architecture creates a calm narrative of reflection and growth, where experience prepares one for spiritual culmination.

The concept model represents the spiritual journey of becoming a Franciscan brother. Solid forms show the key stages of this path, while the fine lines around them symbolize the ongoing journey of faith, discipline, and devotion that connects each step.

The architectural plan follows this journey, shaping the building as a sequence of spaces that guide movement forward, with the church placed at the end as the final and symbolic destination.

As you walk along the path, you observe the daily life of the monastery before reaching the church, encouraging reflection before entering the final spiritual space.

Architectural Assistant Under London Design Office

Responsibility: Project Lead
The client envisioned a Georgian-style residence with a grand arrival, expansive garden views, and interiors that felt both formal and open. They wanted a home rooted in tradition while supporting contemporary living across their four-acre site. Sustainability became central to the design, with solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and heat pump systems integrated to reduce long-term energy use and responsibly manage the land. I led the project independently, coordinating with sustainable vendors, evaluating costs, and guiding the client toward the most efficient and practical solutions. The result is a timeless home designed to be both elegant and environmentally responsible.

The client envisioned a calm garden retreat centred around a pergola immersed in greenery, a place to slow down and reconnect with nature. The design creates a serene yet functional outdoor space, integrating a discreet garden store for tools and cycles and an open kitchen for gatherings. Thoughtful landscaping and flexible seating enhance comfort and enclosure. I was responsible for developing the full drawing set, ensuring the design intent was clearly carried through. The result is an intimate space that feels both practical and deeply connected to its natural setting.

University Project at De Montfort University
Location: Leicester, UK
Year: 2022
Scope: Architecture
Typology: Commercial Preservation (Daycare Center)
Software: Autocad, SketchUp Photoshop, Lumion
This project is built around seamless indoor–outdoor living and mixed-age habitation. Designed as an eco-friendly daycare for children and the elderly, it creates a shared space of care and connection. Most of the existing brick buildings were preserved, with only one new glass pavilion introduced at the centre to attract people and act as a welcoming focal point. The site is zoned to provide privacy for each group, while a central shared area encourages interaction. Generous outdoor spaces strengthen the link to nature, supporting well-being across generations. The result is a thoughtful environment where architecture connects generations while respecting its context.

Concept
The concept emerges from a detailed site study, identifying existing constraints and challenges within the context. These negatives are deliberately transformed into design opportunities, shaping a more pleasant, safe, and nurturing environment for the daycare centre.

The Minimalistic is a project grounded in simplicity and productivity, where less truly becomes more. By reducing visual distractions, the design creates clarity, focus, and space for ideas to grow. Calm tones and intentional restraint create an environment that supports concentration and ease. I led the project, developing the detailed drawing set, 3D model, renders, and presentations. Every element was thoughtfully designed to support daily routines while remaining adaptable to its user.

Echoes of a Dream is a project rooted in perception and its fluid nature, how reality can shift depending on who is experiencing it. Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, it questions whether what we see is truth, illusion, or simply our own interpretation of events. The suspended skull and layered, organic forms reflect this fragile space between dream and reality. What feels chaotic at first slowly becomes tangible, much like Alice’s world- was it a dream, reality, or only her perception of it? The project invites the viewer to question certainty and reflect on how easily reality can blur.

The skull is formed using dried flowers set in resin, revealing subtle gaps that symbolize the fragmented nature of perception and reality. Green wire weaves through it to represent connection, while the suspended plastic jaw anchors the piece, a stark reminder of tangible reality within illusion.

This light installation explores the emotional power of color through the principles of Vastu, assigning specific hues to each day of the week to encourage balance and well-being. Inspired by James Turrell’s immersive light works, the design treats light as both material and space. A simple rectangular form frames a central white core, allowing surrounding colors to reflect and intensify. As viewers move around the piece, shifting light and perspective create a calm, meditative experience. The installation bridges ancient philosophy with a contemporary language of light and perception.

This installation explores the emotional and energetic impact of color through Vastu principles, assigning specific hues to each day of the week to promote balance and harmony. As viewers move around it, shifting light and reflections create an evolving, immersive experience. The design bridges ancient philosophy and contemporary form, turning light into a meditative journey through space and emotion.
Exploded Isometric

The installation is formed as a rectangular vessel, with a strip of light running along its inner edges and framing a central core of pure white light. This white centre acts as a neutral canvas, reflecting and intensifying the surrounding colors. Carefully positioned lighting and reflective materials create a soft, ambient glow that feels fluid and immersive. As light shifts and interacts with the surfaces, the space transforms into a dynamic expression of emotion and harmony.

Dissected to be seen. Designed to be remembered.
