Shipping ordering guidelines & policies

Online Ordering

In order to provide you with our fastest turnaround time and to minimize errors, place your orders online using our live typesetter at www.shop.printswell.com. (Dealers, be sure to use your assigned user name and password.)

Changes or Cancellations

There is a $5.00 net fee for making a change to an order. The fee may be waived if the order has not yet entered the invoicing process. If the order has been printed, you will be billed the full amount of the order. Changing an order while in process may increase our processing time.

Combined Orders

We cannot combine orders once placed.

Errors

Should we make a mistake, we will reprint and reship your order via the same shipping method originally selected at no additional charge. If the dealer or customer is responsible for the error, we will reprint the order and apply a 25% discount. Most orders with an error are reprinted and shipped within one business day.

Re-orders

Re-orders are available should you need an additional quantity. Simply use the order number on your invoice when re-ordering. If you have any changes from your original order other than quantity, you should place a new order, as re-orders are simply printed without additional proofing or correction.

Standard Processing Time

Our standard processing time of orders is 3-4 business days from the time we receive your order (and photo if applicable). For example, an order placed anytime Monday will normally ship by Friday.

Holiday Processing Time

Orders placed between November 1 and December 15 may take slightly longer than the standard processing time due to holiday volume.

Rush Printing

We offer a 2 Day Rush Processing Service for an additional charge. The charge may increase during November and December due to holiday volume. Please refer to the Pricing Page in this album or our website for fees. For example, an order placed anytime on Monday will ship on Wednesday (2 business days).

We offer Mail, Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day and 1-Day shipping for U.S. destinations and mail to U.S. territories. We do not ship to APO or AE addresses. Please refer to the Shipping Rates page in this album or our website.

Photo Submission & Retouching

The preferred method for submitting photos is to place your order through our online ordering system. If you email/fax your order, you must upload your photo to www.printswellphotos.com and submit your photo there. Please do not email photos (many email services shrink the resolution of photos to make the file smaller causing poor quality photos). For best photo quality, images should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch). Please note that the photo areas on some of our cards contain various sizes and orientations that may not perfectly fit your photo.

Basic photo processing, including color correction, sharpness, red-eye correction, and black and white or sepia tone effects, are included at no additional charge. Premium photo retouching, including the artistic removal of unwanted marks or objects, is available for $25 and up per photo (please call or email for a custom quote).

Proofs

We may require a proof for items using non-English text and for orders that include special requests. We will automatically send a courtesy proof on orders of 300 or more of a single item, unless you request that we forego the proof.

For orders placed online, there are no proof charges when using our online proofing tool. When using the typesetter tool, you can view and approve a live proof before submitting your order. Proofs that we typeset are charged as shown on the Pricing Page in this album or on our website.

For emailed/faxed orders, all proofs that we typeset are charged as shown on the Pricing Page in this album or on our website. Each proof is created by our typesetting staff and emailed to the dealer or customer within 1-2 business days of order submission. Typically, orders will then ship within 1-2 business days after proof approval. Proofs must be approved prior to an order being printed. Order delays due to awaiting proof approval are not included in our processing time estimates. If a customer approves a proof that contains an error, we consider that error to be the responsibility of the customer. For this reason we encourage customers to review their proofs thoroughly prior to approval.

Printer’s Discretion

We reserve the right to decline to print any materials we determine to be offensive, objectionable or potentially in violation of copyright, trademark or other licensing protection.
