Prayers for those who are without homes. Prayers for those struggling with their physical and mental health
Prayers for our country and the divisiveness caused by political discourse.
May we find ways to communicate and work together.
Prayers for those around the world, but especially in Gaza and Sudan, experiencing war, hardship, food insecurity, and famine May we share what we have in plenty for those who do not have nearly enough.
Prayers for those being targeted for where their families are from.
Our Congregational Care Ministry is entering a new era. Six Congregational Care Ministers (CCMs) are being commissioned today. They have undergone an application and interview process, as well as training, to be ready to respond to a variety of care needs and situations, in partnership with Pastor Jenny
How do I ask for care or prayer?
Submit a prayer or care request online (QR code → )
Fill in the prayer and care request area on the Engagement Card in your worship bulletin, and put it in the offering plate Call or email the office:
Care is most often provided as a ministry of presence and listening by a trained Congregational Care Minister (CCM) or Pastor
Care can also be shared in various other forms, such as meals after a hospitalization, birth, or death help with rides to treatment or doctor's appointment referral to local social service organizations limited emergency financial assistance
If you ask for care, someone will either reach out to better understand the situation and match you with a caregiver most suited to your needs, or someone will reach out directly to extend care
Care happens in a number of settings, including
A phone call
Hospital, hospice, skilled nursing, etc
In person at church, a park, a coffee shop, etc.
A zoom call (or other video call)
The care receiver’s home
A care note, card, or other communication
Your request will be known by Pastor Jenny and our Care Coordinators (LaVerna Albury and Tyler Mathiasen), so that they can coordinate or offer care.
Conversations with a CCM or pastor will be held in confidence, unless you ’ ve given permission to share further or there is an indication of harm to yourself or others.
CCMs will report to the care coordinators that care was offered and any next steps required, but not the content of the conversations
