Call to Worship
adapted from Steve Garnaas-Holmes
Generous Creator, you give us life abundantly. You shower us with riches. How can we not praise? Christ our brother, you show us grace among the world’s neglected souls. You have blessed us beyond our deserving. How can we not sing? Spirit of Truth, you hide in glory among the human race. You call to us. How can we not share? Come, Love, and transform us by your grace. Alleluia!

Prayer of Confession
UMH #581
adapted from Steve Garnaas-Holmes
The grace of God is with you. And also with you. Trusting in God’s tender mercy, we confess our sin to God with one another. God of mercy, we confess our sin: that our vision has failed, and we've lost sight of your kingdom. Our compassion has waned, and we have lost touch with our neighbor. We have not lived the lives of love you intended. Forgive us, heal us, and restore us in Christ. silence for prayer
Words of Assurance
In Christ we know God's grace and mercy. In Christ we are made new. In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! In the name of Jesus Christ we are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Alleluia! Amen.

Prayers of the People The Lord's Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kin-dom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

PRAYER CONCERNS
Prayers for those who are without homes. Prayers for those struggling with their physical and mental health. Prayers for our country and the divisiveness caused by political discourse. May we find ways to communicate and work together. Prayers for those around the world, but especially in Gaza experiencing hardship, food insecurity, and famine. May we share what we have in plenty for those who do not have nearly enough. Prayers for those being targeted for where their families are from. Prayers for people in all places in war.
