Welcome to Moose Jaw and our 15th annual PGA female sale! Hard to believe that in 2001 our first sale was held in Brandon. At that sale our par tners had a goal to put together a group of cattle that went out to people’s herds across the countr y and made contributions to the Gelbvieh breed. These cattle had to be breed leading genetics. We had heifer calves which kick star ted people’s Gelbvieh programs or strengthened existing ones. We had bred females that produced future herdsires or great cows in the breeding programs they went into, and we also had herdsire prospects that became power ful bulls and improved the herds they went to.
In the following years we continue to sell these individuals. We have sold proven breed leading Matriarchs, more great young females and more herdsire prospects . We continue to offer all of these power ful genetics at the longest continuously running Gelbvieh female sale in Canada. I believe our goal has been achieved!

This heifer was born with the most hair I have ever seen on a Gelbvieh calf and in so doing fits her name to a tee. All sired by a Hoover Dam son purchased from Johnston Fer tile Valley, each of their dams go back to good PGA purchased females. The heifers will sell individually.
CATTLE INSPECTION: All cattle will carr y ear tags corresponding to lot numbers. We encourage inspection of the sale cattle at the farm any time prior to the sale.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements made from the auction block on sale day shall take precedence over printed material in the catalogue. It is therefore the buyer’s responsibility to pay attention to any such announcements.
HEALTH: Overall herd health is excellent. Official vaccinates are designated.
PREGNANCY: All bred females will have been examined prior to the sale. EXPORT SALES: PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF FAMILIAR WITH THE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS IN YOUR STATE.
Bangs vaccinations are noted as O.C.V. In the event that animals are sold to the continental U.S.A., the animals will be kept under excellent care; health tested and have expor t health char ts supplied at cost.
