This year really flew by, with mother nature getting the seasons mixed up having no spring runoff, a cool spring and an awesome late fall, then the reality set in with the frigid December andWJanuary.
e, like most of you, are calving and spending time in our winter homes (the hockey rinks), which both are exiting and interesting times. As the kids get older the rinks get farther away leaving less time to spend calving and more time on the road. Each year we strive to improve our bull pen by making them more functional, sound and with better hair coats to make it in all of the Saskatchewan climates, along with an emphasis on trouble free calving. We all know that less trouble calving equals more time at the rink. The set of bulls we have in the sale this year we feel very confident that they will go out and work and get the job done. The Bootlegger sire group is back again that was very popular last year with their strong maternal values and calving ease. The Booogyman sons are flat out loaded with power. The newest sire group are the Ben sired bulls that are hairy, and soggy. Zake stamps them again with his hair and color. Our Kessel, Lit’em Up, Rebel, and Head Start sons have style and calving ease.
