• All bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale.
• Scrotal measurements available on sale day.

• These bulls are wintered in large pastures, not small pens. This promotes athleticism, soundness and overall physically fit bulls. All of this provides you with more longevity and overall harder working bulls.
• 7/8 Simmental are considered a Purebred in the American Simmental Assocition registeries.
• We guarantee to provide you with a sound breeding bull that has passed a semen test by a licensed veterinarian. Any problems must be reported to the consignor and the buyer is responsible for returning the bull to the consignor immediately when the problem arises. We will have the bull looked at by a veterinarian and determine the course of action from there.
• We strongly advise that you insure your bull, at least for your entire breeding season. We will not be responsible for physical injury or mismanagement, but will work with you to find a solution.

That being said, the quality of bulls we have on offer hasn’t changed. Our goal has always been to raise bulls that go out and work for our customers, whatever their needs may be. The bulls are developed and managed with longevity in mind as well. We have a good selection of pedigrees, power bulls and calving ease bulls in each breed. We take a great deal of pride in developing cattle that are able to thrive in practical settings, in an efficient and economical way.
You can come look at the bulls at the ranch, or come to the market and view the bulls from the Monday before the sale, leading right up to the sale. Here we go with a great looking calving ease bull. The vigor this bull had at birth was nothing short of impressive. If getting them out easy and having them get going is important, this bull should fit the ticket.
Daines Ranch
We’ve worked extremely hard over the years to build our cow herd the way we want. Our cows must have strong maternal traits, good feet, a good udder with lots of milk, calving ease and still possess lots of eye appeal. No replacement females have left the ranch, other than our culls. Due to the fact that our whole family is involved, our cows have to be quiet and easy to handle. We continue to cull anything that doesn’t live up to our high standards.
Affiliate continues to knock it out of the park for us. Wide and thick are the first things that come to mind when looking at him, but he compliments that with sound structure, great hair, and great disposition all topped off by the fact he’s a calving ease sire. He was only used on heifers his first breeding season with great success. Affiliate has already made his mark on our program and we plan to continue using him heavily in the future. His first set of daughters are calving now and look like they will make awesome cows with nice udders.
Sweet Johnny is another herd sire we are very high on. His dam, Young Dale Grace 169B, is one of the best angus cows in the country and Johnny is following suit. He is the total package! Great feet, lots of bone, tons of muscle, an abundance of hair and very nice to handle. He has a real herd sire look and commands your attention. His calves carry all the same style. We used him on both heifers and cows with great results and will continue to use him heavily going forward. We are also calving his first set of daughters and are very pleased.
Tom Boy 56A is a nice outcross pedigree with loads of style and performance to compliment a low birthweight. He is a real clean made bull with a large hip and a perfect angus head. He is out of top young Density daughter, which we expect will result in top notch replacement females.

Danny Boy 12F was a real curve bender, being born at 74 pounds and weaning at an adjusted weaning weight of 876 pounds. He is like his sire in that he is extremely docile and calves easy and does not sacrifice eye appeal or quality. We ended up using him on an even larger group of heifers in the 2020 breeding season.
Whiskey is a bull we have continued to turn to when it comes to breeding large groups of heifers. He consistently sires low birth weight calves with lots of vigour. We are currently getting his third set of calves and his first daughters are calving as well. They have great udders with a ton of milk. The bulls out Whiskey should calve easy without sacrificing growth and eye appeal.
