GENERAL SALE INFORMATION
TIME AND LOCATION: 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014. The sale will be held at the Missoula Livestock Exchange, Missoula, Montana.
TRANSPORTATION: Commercial as well as private aircraft service is available to the area. Rental cars are available at the airport, or with advance notice your plane can be met at the airport.
TELEPHONE: Calls may be placed directly to the sale site by calling (406) 728-3052.
TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash, unless prior credit arrangements are established between buyer and seller. Settlements are to be made with the clerk immediately after the conclusion of the auction.
HEALTH: All cattle will be tested for Brucellosis within thirty (30) days of the sale. Health certificates will be provided with each lot sold.
FIRST BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE: All bulls, 12 months of age and over at the time of sale, are guaranteed breeders. A bull is determined a breeder when he settles one or more females and/ or passes a satisfactory semen test. Certificates of a satisfactory semen test will be provided at sale time for all bulls. In the first year, if a problem occurs with a bull, we will give you a suitable replacement or you will receive full credit minus the salvage value of the original bull toward another purchase in next year's sale. Please notify the seller of the bull as soon as possible if a bull is injured.
This guarantee is a contract between the buyer and seller. All other parties are acting as agents or representatives only.
LIABILITY: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be cared for by the seller for a reasonable period of time. Every precaution will be taken for the welfare of the cattle sold. Neither owner nor sales manager can be responsible for any accidents, but every effort will be made to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending the sale.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Announcements made sale day will take precedence over printed material in catalog.
DELIVERY: Delivery charge will not be more than $300 to any central U.S. point. In some cases, this may require additional transportation by the buyer from a central location to his ranch. Every effort will be made to deliver to the buyer’s ranch or to a convenient location as close to the buyer’s ranch as possible. Buyers who do their own hauling will receive a $100 per head credit.

All of us at Coleman Limousin Ranch welcome you to our 36th Annual Production Sale. Thanks very much for your interest, support, and confidence in our program.
Our 2014 sale offering is powerful and consistent with that of previous years. A special sale feature is our National Western reserve division carload of bulls. These bulls had a WDA of 3.69 pounds. Several outstanding bulls are in this group. The carload bulls were fed on CHS Bull Challenger, a ration that many Montana seedstock producers use. After January 20, the carload bulls were fed the same ration (corn silage, hay, corn, and protein supplement) which we have used for many years.
The sale will be broadcast live by DVAuction. You can watch it on the internet and bid with DV Auction’s “real time” internet bidding services
Again this year we guarantee that your trucking costs will not exceed $300 per head on long hauls. Consideration will be given for short hauls and volume purchases. Buyers who do their own hauling be given a $100 credit per head.
Plan to be with us for the sale event. Dinner will be served on Sunday evening, April 6, at Missoula Livestock Exchange, and there will be a pitchfork steak fondue lunch preceding Monday’s sale.
