EPDs are “Expected Progeny Differences” They are a useful tool in selection EPDs incorporate the individual animal with its averaged ancestr y per formance
The CGA and the AGA has moved to the American Simmental Association’s NCE this spring below are some of the benefits:
• Higher accuracy WW EPDs due to the addition of historical and future weaning weight records to the NCE analysis by including early weaned data, past, present and future
• Increased EPD accuracies for Percentage Gelbvieh and Balancer animals since the joint analysis with the ASA will include a larger database of Angus (Red & Black) animals.

Health - It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state
Accidents - Although ever y precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the sale management, auctioneer, or association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident of loss of property
Rights and Obligations - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and the terms and conditions for this sale do not cover obligations of the two parties connected thereto
