e Welcome to the 2015 POSE Conference! On behalf of the Charlotte Pride Board of Directors and 2015 POSE Planning Committee, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2015 Prides of the Southeast (POSE) Annual Conference. I am extremely proud that Charlotte was selected as the host city for this year’s conference. I hope this event provides you the opportunity to visit with friends, make new acquaintances, and share your experiences in planning and producing your Pride events. May you find encouragement as you listen to speakers, participate in workshops and interact with other Pride organizers from around the southeast. If you have the time this weekend, I hope you will journey out into the Queen City and take in all that Charlotte has to offer. Keynote Speaker CORINE MACK
Sunday Plenary, 10:30 a.m.-Noon Mack is the newly elected Charlotte NAACP President. Prior to this appointment, she was the Community Affairs Chairperson for the Charlotte NAACP, while also serving on their Executive Board. She also worked at the Center for Community Change, a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC. Mack recently finalized a “JOBS” pilot program to give formerly incarcerated and long term unemployed people jobs. The program is collaboration with Charlotte Works and Charlotte Area Fund. Corine has been told she is a leader amongst leaders. She has led and presided over 40,000 workers in the New York Transit System to ministering to hundreds of incarcerated inmates in the New York Prison System. She has been organizing communities in Charlotte and throughout North Carolina. She has organized communities and campaigns with the NAACP in cities from Mississippi and Florida to Arizona to fight for economic and social justice. Mack attended the Cornell University Labor Relation School (B.S. General Business Administration) and George Meany School of Labor (B.A. Personnel and Labor Relations) where she studied labor law, mediation and arbitration and business administration and sociology. Ordained Elder in 1982, Corine was commissioned as a minister in the Perfecting Faith Church in New York by her spiritual father Pastor Donnie McClurkin. Her educational and spiritual background as well as her work experience helped to create her passion for fighting injustice. Mack has received awards for Woman of the Year in Labor (First Lady Hillary Clinton) and Leader of the Year (NYC Transit African American Society).

The Aloft Hotel at the Epicentre has two dining options in the hotel. WXYZ bar at Aloft Hotel offers cocktails and a snack-attack menu (Cuisine: Light Fare). Re:fuel by Aloft is a self serve grab & go 24/7 gourmet eatery.
Everyone, including spouses and exhibitor staff must have a badge. FFTC Security requires the badge for access to the conference space. Badges also serve as your free entry to The Bar at 316 and Cathode Azure.
