Guest Speaker at the Library

Dana Lepofksky, one of the archaeologists behind the Xwe’etay/ Lasqueti Archaeology Project, will be giving a talk at the Powell River Public Library.

To learn more about the project before or after the talk, see the Island in the Middle of Everywhere exhibit at the Museum. Exhibit Oct. 3, 2025 - Jan. 4, 2026.

Drop-in Lantern Making

As the the sun sets earlier and earlier, bring more light into your day with lantern making at the Museum.

Haunted Walking Tours

Visit some of the ghostly residents of Townsite on this guided historic walking tour. Registration is strongly advised. Approx. 1 hour

Join one of our drop-in workshops or visit the lanternmaking station anytime you visit the museum.

Cost: $2/wax lantern, $10/round lantern

Ghost Hunt

Become an expert ghost hunter by finding all the ghosts hiding in the exhibits! Family friendly
