STANDARDS OF DRESS Presidium has requirements in regard to the personal appearance of our team members. At all times, dress and grooming should be appropriate for the work environment. We operate in a peoplefocused business with a strong emphasis on customer service. As a result, personal appearance and the appearance of the surrounding workspace will have an effect on the visitors to the office (both leasing and corporate). It is important to attend work dressed professionally, neatly groomed, and with a professional attitude. All associates should practice personal hygiene and use personal care products on a daily basis. Discretion should be used in applying perfume and lotions. General guidelines are listed below to assist associates in making decisions as to whether or not certain items are considered acceptable. If you have questions regarding this policy, please contact your HR team.

general guidelines Tattoos and Jewelry: Presidium permits employees to wear jewelry or to display tattoos at the workplace within the following guidelines. Factors that management will consider to determine whether jewelry or tattoos may pose a conflict with the employee’s job or work environment include: 1. Personal safety of self or others, or damage to company property 2. Productivity or performance expectations 3. Offensiveness to co-workers, customers, vendors, or others in the workplace based on racial, sexual, religious, ethnic, or other characteristics or attributes of a sensitive or legally protected nature 4. Corporate or societal norms 5. Customer complaints If management determines an employee’s jewelry or tattoos may present such a conflict, the employee will be encouraged to identify appropriate options, such as removal of excess or offensive jewelry, covering of tattoos, transfer to an alternative position, or other reasonable means to resolve the conflict. An environment of mutual cooperation, respect, and fair and consistent treatment for all employees is Presidium’s goal. Nonetheless, Presidium is legally responsible for ensuring that no employees are subject to harassment or a hostile work environment. As an initial step toward resolution of any complaint or offense under this policy, supervisors and managers will be responsible for explaining the policy and answering employee questions. If an agreeable solution cannot be reached at that stage, the human resources manager will follow company procedures to resolve the issue.

Women may wear a dress with a length of no less than two inches above the knees, a blouse with a skirt with a length of no less than two inches above the knees, or slacks with a clean shirt or blouse. Shoes should be no higher than 2.5 inches. Hair will be clean and well-groomed in a manner fitting for a business situation. No trendy extremes (e.g., multicolored, spiked, etc.) are permitted. Men are expected to wear slacks, button-down dress shirts, and closed-toe shoes. Attire is to be cleaned and well pressed at all times. At times on site, specific attire will be required (such as during a marketing campaign, etc.). Variations in attire such as this are OK as long as it is approved by a Regional Director. Blouses/shirts must cover the entire midriff region. No short tops will be allowed at any time. If tops are thin-strapped, a business jacket must be worn at all times. Undergarments (i.e., bra straps) should not be visible. Strapless or low-cut tops are not allowed at any time. Clothes are to be worn with a professional fit; no tight or illfitting garments will be acceptable. Dress slacks are acceptable as long as they are tailored and business-like. Never remove shoes while in the office. Business shoes are preferred. No sandals are allowed, with the exception of dress wedges. Athletic shoes can be worn for exterior property walks only (and only when there is no planned resident interaction on the walk). If you are walking units and plan to interact with residents, you must wear business shoes. Fingernails should be kept at a conservative length. Name tags must be worn at all times on site. Blazers and a team dress code calendar are required at all luxury communities.
