Rolla Presbyterian Manor Marks 50th Anniversary in 2024

Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is 65 years of age or over to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 2025 Art is Ageless calendar.

50 years, in terms of anniversaries, is a big one. For a marriage, it marks the most special of milestones. At Rolla Presbyterian Manor, our celebration of 50 years in 2024 is equally special. Since opening our doors in December of 1973 and watching our first residents move in during the early part of 1974, a lot has changed. The one constant, however, has been our commitment to the Presbyterian Manors mission. Providing care and compassion to seniors is at the heart of our Christian mission.

For the competition, works must be completed after age 65 and in the past five years (since January 2019). There are nine categories, as well as designations of amateur or professional. Entries are due to Rolla Presbyterian Manor, 1200 Homelife Plaza, by 5 p.m. March 11. Local competition winners will join winners from 14 other PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of MidAmerica®) senior living communities to be judged at the systemwide level. Winning entries may be featured in the calendar. Artists may also choose to enter works for exhibit only. The Art is Ageless® program encourages Presbyterian Manor residents and other area seniors to express their creativity through its art annual competition. For entry forms and more information, contact Ann Caudill at 573-364-7336 or acaudill@pmma.org, or visit ArtIsAgeless.org.u
